Have you heard of the "caterpillar experiment"?
The so-called "caterpillar experiment" is an experiment by French scientist John Farber.
He put some food that caterpillars love in the middle of a flower pot, and then put a few caterpillars on the edge, so that their heads connect to the tails of the caterpillars in front and the heads behind to observe how they get food.
However, caterpillars have a habit of following the caterpillars in front and not turning in the direction alone. So they kept spinning around the edge of the pot until they were exhausted and starved to death, and the food was next to them.
