Lao Zhu's restaurant was in that remote location, and its business was getting worse and worse, so he started a new business on Sanmin Road. At that time, Sanmin Road was in the downtown area of Hankou, and Lao Zhu's business was also booming. However, the name of this restaurant has always become a heart-wrenching problem for Lao Zhu. Lao Zhu had never read books for a few days. The three words Huibin Tower were his son Zhu Shize, who borrowed from the "Chinese and Western Recipes" published by Zhonghua Book Company, "Huibin Tower 3 words helped Lao Zhu get it.
1932, the guest building on Sanmin Road closed down, and Lao Zhu spent 4,000 yuan to buy all the assets of the guest building, and at the same time moved Huibin Building to the original site of the guest building. After the Japanese army invaded Wuhan in 1938, Boss Zhu moved to Chongqing. In less than a year, under the persuasion of many friends in Wuhan, he returned to Hankou to reopen. However, at this time, a Japanese businessman also opened a Huibin Building not far from Huibin Building, trying to make a false appearance. Lao Zhu, who had no choice but to add it in front of the signboard. The word "old" became the " Lao Huibin " building. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, Lao Huibin Lou's business reached its peak. Lao Zhu was also willing to spend a lot of money to hire a famous chef to take charge of it. Lao Huibin Lou on Sanmin Road gathered the achievements of famous dishes in Chu Township. Some well-known people in the society in Hankou have visited Lao Huibin Lou, such as Peking Opera master Mei Lanfang and the popular movie star Hu Die .
1955 Lao Huibin Lou took the lead in implementing public Private partnership, Lao Zhu died in 1961. Due to the disrepair of Lao Huibin Building, the Jianghan District Government paid to rebuild Lao Huibin Building in 1976. On June 1, 1982, the new building was completed and named "Lao Huibin". In the 1990s, Lao Huibin Building lived in a downtown area, and parking was inconvenient, and the restaurant was in trouble. In 1998, the first floor was converted into a hardware market. At the end of 2001, the shareholding transformation of was implemented. Finally, the door was closed as the original site of the Wuhan urban renovation restaurant was facing demolition. Since then, Lao Huibin Building has become a thing of the past.
