On June 29, at the 8th Tuankou·Hongling Alpine Steamed Bun Cultural Festival, baskets of freshly baked steamed buns attracted many people to stop and taste them. This time the Steamed Bun Festival is held in Mengqi Town, Liangzhu, Yuhang. This is the first time that Hongling Alpine Steamed Buns have left the mountains and Lin'an , aiming to let more people know the story behind this intangible cultural heritage product.
"It's half the year and the steamed buns are fragrant." Since 2007, Tuankou Town will hold a Steamed Bun Festival every two years to promote the folk culture of western Zhejiang . Nowadays, the Steamed Bun Festival has become an important festival brand and tourism brand in Tuankou, attracting tourists to come and enjoy the steamed bun style.
Tuankou Hongling Alpine Steamed Buns are made from local local wheat flour and filled with local vegetables such as dried bamboo shoots, carob , and dried vegetables. The different "inner cores" often give people the feeling of "opening a blind box" , carrying deep nostalgia. In 2008, the Hongling Alpine Steamed Bun Festival was included in the second batch of intangible cultural heritage list of Lin'an District ; in 2009, it was included in the intangible cultural heritage list of Hangzhou City; in 2012, it was included in the intangible cultural heritage list of Zhejiang Province directory.
At the event site, 34 villages (communities) in Liangzhu Subdistrict and 4 villages in Tuankou Town signed a "village-community pairing" agreement, promising a "three-year agreement". The two parties will lead in party building, grassroots governance, and cultural exchanges In other aspects, we can promote each other and move towards common prosperity.
At the same time, Xueshan Village of Tuankou Town signed a framework agreement for camping base construction with (Feilv) Hangzhou Tourism Culture Co., Ltd., further broadening the path of industrial cooperation.
A Gongfu market was also set up at the event site to showcase agricultural products with Tuankou characteristics such as Xueshan rice, Sanliansuo noodles, Tuanyuan Polygonatum , Tongkeng organic tea, among which specialty delicacies such as Hongling steamed buns and Liangxi sweet potatoes were on display. It attracted everyone to rush to taste it, and 1,000 kilograms of Liangxi sweet potatoes were sold out in one go. In addition, special cultural and creative products such as Tuankou pyrography and town mascots have also attracted the attention of many tourists.
The "turbulent taste" on the tip of the tongue led everyone to appreciate the nostalgic memories hidden in intangible cultural heritage and special food, laying a solid foundation for the later introduction of agricultural products into communities and enterprises.
