It stipulates that grains and processed products in food should not exceed three-layer packaging, and other foods and cosmetics should not exceed four-layer packaging. The new standard will be officially implemented on September 1, 2023, setting a two-year transition period for enterprises and the market.
At a time when consciousness is lacking, the regulatory authorities chant the "tightening curse" to quickly reverse the situation and make simple packaging a new trend. Therefore, at the moment, compulsory measures such as advocating environmental protection concepts, restricting excessive packaging of moon cakes, and strengthening festival integrity, must continue to be promoted.
