In the 27th year of Qianlong's reign, it was said that when Emperor Qianlong borrowed the visit of Jiangnan, he accompanied him from the Grand Secretary of the Tiren Pavilion and Liu Yong, and went to Jingzhi to inspect the 72 houses of Jingzhi, and was sympathetic to the people's feelings. Liu Yong's hometown is , the , not far from Jingzhi. He has a marriage relationship with the Zhao family of Jingzhi. By the way, he offered the sausage made by Zhao to , Emperor Qianlong, and received praise, and praised it for its "bright red, mellow entrance, moderate salty and sweetness, and full of fragrance." After hundreds of years of inheritance, Jingzhi sausage not only inherits the essence of traditional craftsmanship, but also has been screened and formulated with modern scientific ingredients, and has been produced and continued into "Jingxiang" sausage through advanced production processes.
Jingxiang sausages have eight processes: selecting ingredients, dressing, ingredient, picking, filling, drying, steaming, and storing. They are produced strictly in accordance with food safety and quality requirements to ensure food quality and safety.
Jingxiang has won the market with its excellent product quality and is loved by consumers. In 2007, it was the only QS certificate issued by the State Administration of Quality in Anqiu City (National Food Quality and Safety Access Certificate) in the production industry of Anqiu City. In 2010, Jingxiang Sausage won the Anqiu City Excellent Tourism Products Selection Award. In 2017, it was rated as " Weifang famous food" and was recognized as the honorary title of "Weifang time-honored brand" by the Weifang Municipal Bureau of Commerce. It was announced in 2021 as the seventh batch of Anqiu county-level intangible cultural heritage projects.
