Babler Winery is located in a natural environment with beautiful mountains and rivers. As one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, it is located in the Dornoach River Port in the beautiful Cambuscurrie Bay. Founded in 1790, the Barblair Distillery still uses pure water from the meandering rivers on the hills to make single malt whiskey. Barblell was purchased by Inver House in 1996 and began a new and important period in its history.
Brand Craftsmanship
Compared to the four thousand years of local Pictish culture, the Barblair Winery, built in 1790, looks very young, but it is also one of the oldest wineries in Scotland. The winery was founded by local man John Ross. Although the Ross family has long lost ownership of the winery, his descendants still work at the winery. To this day, three of the nine employees of the winery are his descendants.
Balblair is a winery in the world that focuses on the production of single vintage whiskey (Single Vintage Whisky). To produce single-year whiskey, winemaking experts must carefully select the aged wine that has reached its glory for bottling, presenting a perfect wine that is unparalleled by the winery. In the past two years, although Balblair has presented several single-year single malt whiskeys, there are three that can be regarded as Balblair's core wines: 1997, 1989, and 1975.
