In the past, our predecessors rode camels to patrol the border. Now we drive pickup trucks to patrol the border. The conditions have improved and it is more convenient.
Xu Naichao's self-report: The area under the jurisdiction of the Border Couple Police Office is 3,145 square kilometers, of which 103 kilometers are along the border. Due to its extremely important location, our police office is the "110 alarm point" here, on the sparsely populated border line. In this area, we all know which ravines can hide people and which places have hills.

Basically every two or three days, we patrol the border with the Jubian Border Fortress. When we go to the border, we mainly check to see if any of the fences are damaged and if there are any people crossing the border illegally. The next step is to see if there is a protected animal hanging on the mesh fence, and we can rescue it.
Li Wenna said: Due to several sandstorms since the spring of this year, several fences on the border have been damaged to varying degrees. In the past two days, a construction team dispatched by the Foreign Affairs Office of was stationed in our jurisdiction.
Li Wenna said: A construction team of 12 people needed more than a month to repair and reinforce the damaged areas of the fence, and to level the mountains of sand and soil. The increase in outsiders also made us more vigilant. While intensifying border patrols, Xu Naichao decided to share food and accommodation with the construction team to ensure border security, while I was responsible for driving to and from the police office and the construction team stationed point every day. During mobile patrols, if you encounter unfamiliar vehicles on the road, make inquiries and registrations to accumulate first-hand information for border protection.
Xu Naichao’s self-report: When facing unfamiliar faces on the road to the border, we will feel a little uneasy because we don’t know whether the person in front of us is dangerous, but we will still go without hesitation. Go forward, conduct an interrogation of him, and verify his identity.
Li Wenna said: We, husband and wife, guard the border together and measure the land of the motherland with our own steps. This sense of pride cannot be compared with a few words. Thinking back to before I was stationed to guard the border, I asked Xu Naichao what the boundary markers on the border looked like. What do you do on duty at the border? He would always patiently explain to me and tell me stories about the predecessors stationed at the border. Today, our husband and wife have taken over the baton of our predecessors in guarding the country and the border. Like them, we will also be stationed on the northwest border of the motherland, using our youthful power to protect the most sacred land.
Xu Naichao said: As an immigration police officer, my biggest wish is that the country is prosperous, the people are happy, and the border is peaceful.
