Since the first patient was diagnosed at the end of 2019, the epidemic has continued to its third year.
Review of the confirmed data over the past three years, from the perspective of the country, what are the rules of the diagnosis rate distribution in various countries?
uses the indicator of diagnosis rate, which can ignore the huge difference in population base, and is a relatively objective and fair comparison method.
In some countries, some people may be repeatedly diagnosed as confirmed cases. In the statistics of this table, this situation is ignored and only the cumulative number of confirmed cases/annual total population *10,000 are used to obtain the confirmed rate data per 10,000 people in each country.
From a regional perspective, in many countries in Europe, West Asia, South America and North America, the cumulative number of confirmed cases per 10,000 people exceeded 1,000, of which France, Denmark, Iceland and other countries exceeded 5,000. Regardless of repeated infections, one in every two people in these countries has been diagnosed.
Africa, Pacific island countries and some Asian countries have relatively low confirmed cases per 10,000 people, of which my country is as low as 1.8 people per 10,000 people. Whether it is all countries with complete data or among countries with large populations, this data in our country is far lower than that in other countries.
Life is paramount, and the data accurately illustrates the greatness of this policy. The early data of confirmed patients with
has a relatively large relationship with age, so in the next chart, we introduce the data on the proportion of the population over 65 years old in various countries.
In 24 countries with a population of 60 million, the rate of diagnosis per 10,000 people, the distribution of the per capita GDP and the proportion of people over 65 years old is shown in the figure below.
The confirmed rate per 10,000 people is about one thousandth of that in Japan, six thousandth of that in the United States, and three thousandth of that in France. The low infection rate has created miracles that other countries cannot achieve.
