We both knew how to make dumplings when we were young, so we worked together tacitly, from kneading the dough, chopping the fillings to rolling out the wrappers and making the dumplings, all in one go. The hospital employees were also curious to join in the fun and asked us to teach them how to make dumplings. These employees, who often use scalpels to perform precision surgeries, quickly mastered the art of making dumplings, even though some dumplings were oddly shaped and "unsightly".

We ate from afternoon to evening, talking while eating. What surprised us most was that all employees had been to China more than once, with Shenyang and Wuhan being the places they visited most.
