Reading Review: Take the essence (4) "Men from Mars , Women from Venus" John Gray
When a person is in a bad mood and feels depressed, angry, disappointed, and frustrated, it is difficult to communicate with others with love. The emergence of negative emotions often makes people forget that they should communicate with others in a decent way. If you let your emotions at this time, bad attitudes can easily hurt others.
In order to prevent the harm caused by negative emotions, we can calm ourselves down when we want to have an outburst of emotions. Use this calm time to write a letter to ourselves or the other party. The content of the letter can be short or detailed. You can express your feelings and emotions in the letter, love or hate, anger or sadness, the other party's behavior makes you worry, what you want the other party to do, etc. This letter does not have to be seen by anyone, but this process will help you clarify your emotions and help you relieve unpleasantness.
Many people's inner trauma may have been from being a child because they did not get the understanding and care of their parents until they grew up, and unpleasant experiences accumulate to adulthood. They may not be so just now that someone comes to help you treat these traumas, so we must learn to take care of and manage our emotions. We can help ourselves in the way of venting words and treat the injured child inside us.
When you feel pain and helpless, no one will listen and understand your feelings in time. So when you release your feelings in the form of words, instead of suppressing or hurting yourself or others in an inappropriate way, your emotions flow well, and then your inner pain will slowly heal.
