share with you a few ways to help you relieve depression in time

1) Detailed and clear goals
Depressed people tend to set goals too grand or vague: "I want to be happy", "I want to get rid of loneliness"; and people who are not depressed will say: "I plan to call my good friends twice a week."
The former makes people more frightened; while the latter makes people feel more controlled, and in fact it can also lead to change.
When people are depressed, they are prone to fall into myths and all bad thoughts come together: for example, I am finished, I will never get better, I am very bad, how can I get better?
Believe me, countless people have such moments of self-doubt and extremely desperate. Try it, give yourself a more specific goal at this time: for example, to write an article, or buy a mop, and have a dinner with a friend.
Let philosophers think about the ultimate human problem, and let us eat, drink, defecate and urinate carefully.
2) Get up to do something, or meditate
When people are depressed, they are easily addicted to negative thoughts, just like little mice stepping on a wheel, unable to escape. Many studies have confirmed that meditation can be helpful in such situations.
Meditation certainly helps - if you can do it. What is most helpful for me personally is to focus on my body when my brain cannot stop rotating, such as touching the object around me, moving my toes, walking around, or doing a small thing. The purpose is to focus on your body's feelings and focus on the present moment.
3) About meditation
I accompanied a friend to a temple to study meditation many years ago. There are many types of meditation, such as walking meditation, meditation, and so on. I never learned to meditate—to be ashamed, and every time I fell asleep at a very fast speed.
But I have been using a technique mentioned by the teacher at that time. He said at the time, pay attention to your breathing, and pay attention to the thoughts that come out of your head. Imagine there is a conveyor belt (or rail) in front of you. When you have an idea, pack the idea and put it on the conveyor belt and let it go; the next one comes out, pack it and put it on the conveyor belt and let it go. Repeatedly.
I still fall asleep from time to time, but this technique can indeed effectively drag me out of the myths of random thoughts.
4) Create an emotional "settlement" for yourself
It is difficult for people to recall any happy feelings when they are depressed. One suggestion is to create an emotional place to settle yourself.
Some therapeutic techniques will allow the client to recall/or imagine an environment/situation that makes you feel comfortable, safe and happy in a meditative state. This environment may be the house you lived in when you were a child, the beautiful wilderness, or the home of a good friend when you were young, or even the environment you imagined that makes you feel comfortable and happy.
But what is important is that there is such a place in your thoughts. This place can give you a good feeling. When depression invades, you can sneak out and "go back" to take a break and accumulate some energy.
5) Go to exercise
A 26-year study review shows that exercise can not only make people feel comfortable in the short term, but also prevent the onset of depression symptoms from a long-term perspective.
Recently, I chatted with friends who ran marathons. Everyone had unanimous feedback that long-distance running can indeed relieve stress and make people feel better.
When a depression attack occurs, people are particularly unwilling to move. Then, just before the depression attacks, get exercise.
6) Thinking mode
Research says that if a person tends to have a large emotional response to events, he or she is more likely to suffer from depression symptoms.
This is also the front and back of the coin. If a person is sensitive, he is easily troubled by emotions; if he is not sensitive, he may lose his creativity and imagination. It is said that people are particularly suitable for artistic creation in a hypomanic state because they were jumping, rich and imaginative at that time. The same is true for depression.
Depression brings disadvantages, and it also has its benefits. Maximize those good parts and learn to shake hands with those bad parts - of course it's hard, but it's worth trying.
