Many people will worship according to the custom on the first and fifteenth day of the new year. During the holidays, they must prepare rich offerings to worship their ancestors and reward the gods. When preparing offerings, I believe that many people will be confused by the names of some offerings, such as three animal sacrifices, four animal sacrifices, five animal sacrifices, small three animal sacrifices, etc.... These offering names are composed of different contents. The following is for everyone.
Three animals: usually a large piece of pork, one whole chicken, and one fish. The half-cooked three animals are prepared for the sacrifice to the gods, and the fully cooked three animals are prepared for the worship of the ancestors. This is very important and must be paid attention to. The rules for placing the three animals are: facing the gods, the pork is the middle animal, the chicken is placed on the left and the fish is on the right, and the chicken head faces the god. In some places, it is customary to place the fish head towards the god, while in others, the fish tail faces the god.
Small three animals: Simplify the three animals, a small piece of pork, eggs, flower sticks or squid. You can also see the combination of small three animals with dried tofu instead of fish. The Taiwanese pronunciation of dried tofu is the same as "official", which has the auspicious meaning of expecting to be a big official. Generally, the small three animals are used in the sacrifice of the generals, the exterminator of Exie, the sacrifice of the five ghosts, the sacrifice of the white tiger evil, and the funeral road sacrifice.

Qiwei Bowl: Seven bowls are filled with different pastries or kuih food.
Four Fruits: refers to the fruits of the four seasons, not the four types of fruits. The number of types is more appropriate to be singular.
Five Zhai: golden needles, fungus, winter noodles, shiitake mushrooms, dried bamboo shoots.
