The name of Louis Vuitton comes from the Guangdong Hall of Ocean Taikoo Li Shopping Center. This city landmark was once a gathering place for Guangdong businessmen more than 100 years ago.
Before Louis Vuitton took over, the Guangdong Hall was a retail location for luxury brands, across the street from the three-story flagship store, providing a full range of products from French luxury brands. The Chengdu Home, covering an area of more than 2,000 square meters, is Louis Vuitton's third flagship store in China. It will open 9 months ago.

Lifelike panda statues and hot air balloons greet visitors at the courtyard entrance of the hall. In the months leading up to its opening, these colorful sculptures have become popular on social media in our country.
According to LV, this bistro-style restaurant offers a seasonal menu with pan-European and classic dishes of French and Mediterranean cuisine. Local products from Ya'an City , which originated in the mountainous areas of western Sichuan, my country, such as Sichuan truffles and Oscietra, add some exquisite local flavors. The restaurant will offer wines, including a selection of wines from the Jura area, the birthplace of founder Louis Vuitton.
Starting Thursday, guests can book the 60-seat restaurant by phone to experience lunch, dinner and afternoon tea services. According to Yunmi, the Shanghai Catering Group, which runs the restaurant, the restaurant has been booked for all the time of the year.
Vilgin appointed Michelin -star chef Olivier Elzer as his first resident chef, and his menu designed a blend of local Sichuan flavors and French sophistication. A set of bright red and orange paper sculptures made from Louis Vuitton shopping bags combine with ancient Chinese stone sculptures to add a surprise element to a corner of the restaurant.
In order to create more topics for the opening of the restaurant and attract audiences from the Z era, Louis Vuitton collaborated with local rapping singer Ma Siwei to create an original song titled "Sand Fan" and "What is Your Style" on the eve of the event.
On the morning of the restaurant's opening, Louis Vuitton launched an interactive game called Mahjong Tiao Tiao on the WeChat applet, which is named after the popular mahjong culture in Chengdu.

This game takes players to experience themes that reflect today's Chengdu, including traditional and modern city walks, hot pot and nightlife experiences, tea culture and slow life in Qingchengshan .
A month before The Hall was released, Louis Vuitton added the new destination of Chengdu to the Louis Vuitton City Guide. The brand invited world-renowned Chinese architect Liu Jiakun as guest editor of Chengdu City Guide.
The Hall is Louis Vuitton's fifth hotel project in the past two years and the fourth in the Asian market. Louis Vuitton chairman and CEO Michael Burke has hinted that the brand may open more restaurants and even hotels.
