We all know that pumpkin can be eaten as a vegetable or as a substitute for grain. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that pumpkin is warm in nature and sweet in taste, and enters the spleen and stomach meridian. It is not only rich in nutritional value but also has significant effects. People's long-term consumption of pumpkin can prevent asthma , bronchitis and other common autumn diseases, which has many benefits for the body.
If you eat too much pumpkin, you will inevitably get tired of it, especially children, who may not want to eat it after eating too much. Pair it with some flour to make pumpkin cake, which is sweet and soft, delicious and nutritious.
As a staple food for breakfast and dinner, it tastes particularly delicious when paired with some side dishes and porridge.
Let me share with you how I make it:
1. Peel and slice the pumpkin.
2, steamed in a pot.
3, mash the steamed pumpkin into puree and let it warm.
4. Beat an egg into 300 grams of pumpkin puree and stir evenly.
5, add 300 grams of flour, 3 grams of yeast , and 30 grams of white sugar to the pumpkin puree, stir into a thick paste, cover with a lid and let it rise.
6, let it rise until the volume increases significantly.
7, add a handful of black sesame seeds, stir evenly and fully exhaust.
8, put the mixed batter into the mold until it is 70% full, and vibrate to exhaust.
9, put it in the steamer and let it rise again for 15 minutes. Then turn on the heat and steam for 20 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for another 5 minutes.
10, it can be demolded after being warmed for a while.
Mix pumpkin with flour. It is sweet and soft, delicious and nutritious.
As a staple food for breakfast or dinner, it tastes particularly delicious when paired with some side dishes and porridge. Friends who like it can try it.
