An elder, also a friend, said that for decades she worked, she has been doing the job she doesn't like now, and insisted on it day after day because she got from a very poor small village to the city, and this job was assigned to the year, and my friend cherished it very much for its hard-earnedness.
Later, due to family changes, all the burden fell on her all at once, and for this reason she became more cherishing of this job. Until now that the child has grown up, she can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Soon she is about to usher in a retirement life and begins to want to find a new direction she loves and inject a new breath into her life.
To be honest, I admire and appreciate my friend's tolerance and responsibility. Even though she has done jobs that she doesn't like for the past few decades, she still sticks to her post conscientiously.
Although I can feel her regret that she has not been able to shine in the career she loves over the years and is unwilling to be "waste" in her life, but I can also feel that she is working hard to live the life she wants.

She envies the young people who can do what they like, but we envy her for not having to worry about her livelihood, and she still has free time and spare money to study. This is how life is, look at me, look at you. But if you really switch roles, I'm afraid you still like to live in your own track.
I chose this job that allows her to take care of her family decades ago without worrying about her livelihood. It must be the result of my friend's careful consideration. That was the most urgent need at that stage, and it doesn't matter whether it is right or wrong.
In fact, being able to do the job you love can not only gain a sense of social value, self-worth, but also get a satisfactory salary. This is not an easy task, nor does everyone have this luck from the beginning. Many people know what they don’t like to do, but they don’t necessarily know what they want to do. This involves the level of self-exploration. It is not easy to understand yourself, right?
No matter what stage of life we are in, we can explore ourselves, realize ourselves, be the true self, and live our lives.
