Tang Zhiyan

Great Emperor of Tang 7th year of Wude (624 AD) , was invited back to the temple on the mountain by Li Shijia, the general manager of Suzhou . Zhiyan practices the three blessings of pure karma on weekdays and cultivates the sixteen wonderful views of the Western Paradise. This temple was established by Master Tanluan in the past. Daochuo admires Master Tanluan's Pure Land Method very much, so he concentrates on visualizing Pure Land Amitabha Buddha. When sitting, you often face the West, and pay homage to Amitabha Buddha in the six quarters, never missing out, and chanting the Buddha's name 70,000 times a day is a fixed lesson. There are other monks who personally saw the extraordinary auspicious signs of the Western Pure Land in meditation, and they also saw Daochuo holding a rosary, his whole body was red and bright like the tallest mountain of Qibao Mountain. There are also various auspicious signs that cannot be described in full.

　Daochuo once taught the " Amitabha Sutra " and "Amitabha Sutra" to the public, almost two hundred times. Everyone who listens to the lectures holds beads and chants the Buddha's name. The sound of chanting the Buddha's name is as strong as the tides and waves. Sometimes, after the public disperses, the sound of the Buddha's name still echoes between the deep valleys of the mountains and forests. Daochuo encourages and encourages sentient beings to practice the Pure Land Method on weekdays, and the principles of the lectures are thorough and thorough, and they continue to emerge like clear springs and flowing water. People are often advised to concentrate on their thoughts and stop catching things, and remember the Buddha with all their hearts and minds. He has written two volumes of " Anle Collection ", and the thoughts of Nagarjuna and the thoughts of the two Bodhisattvas of Heaven and Heaven, and the sentences of Huiyuan and Tanluan. His words and meaning are central and respected by people at that time.

At the same time, seeing the transformed Buddhas fill the void, all kinds of wonderful heavenly flowers floating down from the void, the public looked up with joy and praised it with great praise. Since then, Daochuo's physical strength has become stronger and stronger due to his diligent practice, and his appearance and color have become more radiant. No matter how many believers who have become monks and lay people yearn for the wind and yearn for the wind, they will not be reborn until they are in their eighties.

　At that time, there was a monk named Shi Daofu who was the same aspiring to rebirth in the Pure Land with Daochuo. Every time the two met, they would definitely expect to be reborn in the Pure Land together as their mutual expectation. Three days after Daochuo passed away, Daofu heard the news and said, "I often hope to be reborn first. However, today I will be in the future. I will use a little more effort to follow Daochuo."
