Wutai Mountain is composed of a series of mountain peaks, including the east-tai Wanghai Peak, the south-tai Jinxiu Peak, the middle-tai Cuiyan Peak, the west-tai Guaiyue Peak, and the north-tai Yedou Peak, like five giant pillars that rise up from the sky and stand tall towering. The peak overlooks the flatness and is like a platform with earth, hence the name. According to legend, Mount Wutai is the temple of Manjushri Bodhisattva. Manjushri Bodhisattva is one of the parents of the Buddha Tathagata, also known as the Dharma Prince of , which is a symbol of great wisdom.

Manjushri Bodhisattva corresponds to the causes and conditions of sentient beings in the world of Posa, and manifests his honorary shape in different images, such as the monk's shape, one bun, five bun, eight bun and six-character Manjushri, the most common of which is the five bun.

Manjushri Bodhisattva usually holds a Vajra Sword in his right hand, symbolizing the use of the sword of wisdom to kill all demons and eliminate all ignorance and troubles. Holding a green lotus in your left hand, there is the Diamond Prajna Sutra on the flower, symbolizing the supreme wisdom you possess.
