Ma family uses Changsha as their capital and builds an palace in the north of the city, and builds Huichun Garden as a place to escape the summer heat. In the second year of Tiancheng in the Later Tang Dynasty (that is, in AD 927), Ma Yin's son Ma Xifan gave part of the spring garden to the monk Baoning and created Kaifu Temple. After Ma Xifan succeeded to the throne, he built a large-scale construction nearby, building Ziwei Mountain next to it and Bilang Lake north, making the Kaifu Temple a famous scenic spot with 16 views inside and outside. Li Mian, a literati of the Ming Dynasty, once wrote a poem called "Kaifu Temple" and praised it: "I love to bring up the scenery and naturally enter the painting screen. The water light contains the mirror and the mountains are green, and the mountains are covered with snails. I hug my son and the ape return to the cave, and I rush to the clouds and cranes. I sit calmly for a long time, and the flowers fall in the leisurely courtyard."
The temple pioneer Baoning (another saying is Zhenyan) preached the scriptures here, and received strong support from the Ma father and son, and there were 1,000 monks living there. After the fall of the country, temples and temples have been preserved as Buddhist activities, and have been developed to this day through the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.
