When I first retired, it felt like the sky suddenly cleared up. Life was so beautiful. I went to shopping malls, traveled, and had friends get together every three days... I most like to surf the Internet in my free time and buy, buy, buy, etc. What to eat, use, wear, wear. After taking them all, the courier guys in the neighborhood all know me. One day I asked to pay the heating bill. When I opened my mobile phone balance, I was speechless. Why? Remember there are many more?

This incident touched me very much. I have enough food and clothing. If you fail to calculate, you will suffer poverty. The old saying has its own truth. Look at the pile of things bought in the house, but very few of them are actually used. They were all bought out of compulsion and out of curiosity, and are of no use at all.

Since then, I have changed my living habits

1. I save a portion every month and will never use it unless there are special circumstances.

2. The money to honor the elderly is given as scheduled every month, even though the elderly refuse to accept it in every possible way.

3. Household expenses expenses. There is no need to be too frugal and demanding on yourself. After all, as you enter middle age, your body is your capital. Eating a reasonable diet and investing in more exercise are necessary.

4. Favors come and go, always be ready. Take it and go if you need it.

5. Couples should spend their pocket money according to their ability.

We, as husband and wife, made an appointment to live our own lives. We don’t compare, we don’t envy, we don’t feel inferior. It doesn’t matter to us that other people drive luxury cars. We just use ours. Others live in a house of a few hundred square meters, but we live in a small house of a few dozen square meters... We don’t have unnecessary money. Flowers... keep a happy heart, live a happy life, and have gratifying savings at the end of the year.
