Yibin Nanxi District Committee and District Government have increased their investment in education and equipped Nanxi District Changjiang School with a maker classroom containing 3D printing , laser engraving, drone and other facilities and equipment. This training adopts a combination of special lectures and operation demonstrations. The training content mainly covers basic knowledge and usage skills of maker teaching aids such as computer programming, 3D printing and modeling, , laser engraving, drone operation, etc. In the one-day training, it focuses on the improvement of teachers' innovative thinking and creative ability, with rich content and diverse forms, integrating theoretical, practical and interesting. In the classroom, teachers mastered basic modeling thinking through personal participation, design, assembly, communication, salon discussion, etc., and improved their ability to carry out courses, conduct competitions, and apply information technology. In subsequent teaching, teachers can gradually practice the project-based learning method to cultivate students' ability to interact and share, solve problems across disciplines, teamwork and innovation and creation.
Maker classrooms can enable students to turn their creativity into reality, and are a carrier for using multi-disciplinary knowledge such as information technology, mathematics, physics, and chemistry for practice.
