Social Avoidance and Distress Scale SAD, compiled by WatSon Friend in 1969, is used to evaluate and analyze testers’ attitudes and responses to social interaction. It contains 28 items. Among them, 14 items are used to analyze social avoidance, and the other 14 items are used to assess the degree of distress; social avoidance is an action strategy taken, and social distress is the emotional experience of the test person. The
SAD scale is used to analyze the tendency to avoid social interaction and the emotional feelings of being on the scene. We regard avoidance as a behavior taken by the test person, which can refer to avoidant personality disorder.
