Out of trust, some old people agreed to Li's loan request, and some even did not ask Li to issue IOU .

The court found out that from August 2018 to November 2019, the defendant Li defrauded 22 victims of 3.14 million yuan in the name of loans, knowing that he had no ability to repay, and used most of the money to be used for online gambling by fictitious reasons such as capital turnover of foreign trade company, house decoration, and store maturity renewal.
After trial, the court held that the defendant Li defrauded public and private property for the purpose of illegal possession, and the amount was particularly huge, and his behavior constituted the crime of fraud. The court sentenced the defendant Li to ten years and four months in prison and a fine of 200,000 yuan; and ordered the defendant to return the illegal gains and return them to the victims.
