China Daily Network , November 3 (Reporter Pan Yiqiao and Dong Jing) On November 2, the international media theme interview team of "2022 China has an appointment with China" came to a brown sugar factory in Yiwu to experience the production process of the country's intangible cultural heritage " Yiwu Brown Sugar " up close.

Yiwu still insists on using traditional wood-fired iron pan to make sugar. The brown sugar produced is slightly cyan due to its tender yellow color, also known as " Yiwu Qing ".

Pakistan student Alfan of Zhejiang University said that this was the first time he had seen such a small brown sugar factory, and it was very industrialized, which was completely different from the situation in his hometown. The production process and taste of Yiwu brown sugar made him praise it.

Yiwu brown sugar production technology has unique processes and processes, mainly divided into four process processes: material selection, juice pressing, torture and air drying, including more than 20 technical processes. Because the production process is still manually operated and has not been purified by industrial use, Yiwu brown sugar retains the original nutrients to the greatest extent, and its nutritional value is far greater than that of white sugar.

As the son of the sugar makers, Alfan couldn't put down Yiwu brown sugar. He said: "This smell evokes my childhood memories. Thanks to 'China' for arranging this visit."
