2. I used about 120 grams of yam, then I knocked two eggs into the cooking machine and beat the yam into a paste.
3. Take a bowl and first brush a layer of cooking oil on the bottom and around the bowl. Brushing oil can prevent the steamed yam cake from sticking to the bottom of the bowl. Then pour in the beaten egg liquid yam paste, then skim the foam on the surface of the yam paste with a spoon, then remove the pits and chop it, sprinkle it on the surface of the yam paste, and then cover it with a layer of high-temperature resistant plastic wrap to prevent water vapor from dripping in. Then use a toothpick to tie some small holes on the plastic wrap for exhaust.
4. Then put the large bowl of yam paste in a steamer with water added in advance, turn on high heat until the water in the pot is gasped, then turn to medium heat and continue steaming for about 20 minutes. Turn off the heat. Do not turn on the pot immediately after turning off the heat. Continue to simmer for 3 to 5 minutes to prevent the yam cake from collapsing.
5. After three to five minutes, open the pot, take out the yam cake and turn it onto the plate, then cut it into small pieces, let it cool, and you can serve it on the table and eat it. It’s delicious!
