It’s been very difficult to get up recently. I looked at the photos on my phone during the lunch break. The scene of my work in Company D is vividly remembered. I was very busy at that time. At that time, I can wake up early on time every day. As soon as the alarm goes off, I am basically awake in about half a minute. So I was thinking, why in J company now, the work pressure is not so much, the time is not so long, but can't get up?
Recently I was reading Mr. Lin Qingxuan 's book. His "Between Half Dream and Half Awake" made me gain.
When Mr. Lin went to buy an alarm clock, the owner of the watch shop suggested that he buy a "lazy alarm clock". It is designed for lazy people. The general alarm clock only has one sound when it rings. When the alarm clock rings for the lazy person, the rhythm changes from slow to fast, from slow to urgent, and eventually it will make people overwhelmed; the general alarm clock stops at the touch of a button. , Lazy man’s alarm clock won’t stop when pressed, it will ring again every five minutes, unless the main switch is turned off.
I remembered that I was thinking about turning it off recently, and thinking about it again after turning it off, over and over again.
The owner of the watch shop said that for real lazy people, no matter how good the alarm clock is, the alarm clock is for those who are half-sleeping and half-awake.
What is half-dream and half-awake?
When a person is awakened by an alarm clock, he is half asleep and half awake. If he hears the alarm, he can immediately be awake. This kind of person is called'huigen' in Buddhism. If the alarm clock is called, it is also called Do not wake up, even get up to turn off the main switch, this kind of person is called'blunt root'. Most people are neither wisdom root nor blunt root, but'fan root'. The so-called fan root is awake and lost; sublimated and degenerate; when the alarm clock rings, he wanders and struggles between half asleep and half awake, right. For such people, a good alarm clock is helpful. Those who are half-wake and half-dream are easier to re-enter the dream, and it is not easy to wake up. At this time, they need to repeatedly remind, exhort, and urge. Can play its benefits.
We neither have the root of wisdom to fully awaken,But we are not the blunt roots of complete dreams. Most of us are on the edge of dreaming and waking, between half dream and half awakening. In the life here and now, we are not all living in the muddy and filthy earth. At these moments, our hearts will fly to the realm of clear sky and beautiful sun, rainbow and sunrise, and occasionally we will also have moments when the grass is as soft as the grass, the moon is as radiant, and the stars are as twinkling, and we have a clear attitude to view life. It feels like being awakened from sleep by an alarm clock in the morning.
It is a pity that when the alarm clock goes off, we will soon be overwhelmed by the red smoke and fall into a dream again. Awakening is good, but waking up cannot leave the dream and live alone; awakening is good, but awakening cannot leave the confusion and wake up.
In life, there are two sides of dream and awakening, fascination and awakening. Only when people are hesitating, struggling, struggling, and pursuing, the meaning and eternal value of life will shine in the process.
The incompleteness of life is not terrible, and it is not terrible for people to be born into a world of sannyasins with imperfections. The fear is that you will always lose your way and never realize it, and you will always dream and not be surprised. There is no alarm clock in the mind that can wake us up from ignorance, habits, delusions, and attachments at any time.
When we wake up from sleep, we announce dreams to people. The Prajna Sutra says that this is "dreams in dreams", because life is a big dream, and dreams in sleep are false and unreal. Where can the traversed lives find true footprints? In the "Langa Sutra", the Buddha said: "All ordinary people are obsessed with infatuation and fall into wrong views, not knowing but vain in their own minds. That is why I say that all dharma is like dreams and illusions, without substance."--- -All dharmas have no substance, like dreams, dreams, emptiness, nothing. Ordinary people cling to me, so I sink into the sea of life and death, and the dreams cannot end.
There are still dreams in the dream, which is the regret of life, and the feeling that there is still in the dream is the luck of life.
Enlightenment is the meaning of Bodhi. It means to perceive the infringement of defilements, to be able to be aware of ignorance and darkness, to stay away from delusion, and to be able to use it as one's own master.
Transformed like a flower, after the flowers and fruits drift down, where do the other flowers bloom? Dreams are like a stream,After the river flows, where does the new river flow come from?
" Yuanjue Sutra" says: "All sentient beings have all kinds of illusions, all beings are born in the Tathagata to realize the wonderful heart. According to disillusionment, all disillusions will die, and the heart will not move." At the root of the falling flower, at the source of the flowing water, there is a vigorous and clear place, as long as we trace the root to the source, we can rest there.
Good man! Good woman! Between half asleep and half awake, let us listen to the alarm clock of the heart! Jump up to the road of purity, dignity, and ultimate.
