There is an activity such as Happy Birthday in the language field of middle class. It happened that two children celebrated their birthdays recently. So I changed this class into a comprehensive parent-child class. On the one hand, through this activity, everyone collectively celebrates a happy and unforgettable birthday for the children, on the other hand, through this hands-on parent-child activity, the parent-child relationship is enhanced.

Teaching Reflection
Because this activity was originally designed as a comprehensive activity, the goals were also considered in terms of emotions, skills, and cognition, so that the design content included language expression, handicrafts, cognition of social life, interpersonal communication, gratitude, etc. Whether it is the preparation or process of the activity, I consider it from the perspective of being conducive to the development of children, respecting their interests and hobbies, and their acceptance.
But during the activity, I discovered a problem with this design. There is too much content. In this activity, children need to make birthday hats with their parents, send blessings to their peers in their own language, understand what a birthday is and what to do on a birthday, and need to know how to be grateful and share through activities.
After reflection, I think the goal should be more precise and the content should be simpler. It is through a collective birthday party, making birthday hats and feeling the warmth of the collective. As for content such as gratitude, sharing, and expressing blessings, you can intervene in the event in a timely manner according to the specific situation, or mention it in one sentence, or delete it directly. Finally, I sincerely hope that both the children celebrating their birthdays and those celebrating their birthdays will have an unforgettable birthday party.
