In 2020, my little cutie was born. My wife rested at home for a year. When the child was almost one year old, we started to meet the baby once or twice a week.
Because my wife and I run a small shop, we arrive at the store at 6 am every morning and close at 9:30 pm, so for the sake of life, we basically did not go home within the week and rented a private house next to the store.
Every weekend, it becomes a day for us to gather. In the past, when the child was young, he would hug him every time he went back, so we would tease her and play with her for a while. When we left, she would cry so hard that she would burst into tears, and my wife would follow him and cry silently in the no one.
But during this period, the child has grown up slowly and has his own thoughts. He obviously feels unfamiliar with us.
These times when we went home, when the door was opened, she would whistle and hide behind my grandfather. We were stunned at that time. After a few minutes, we hugged her and played with her for a while before we could laugh.
At night, when I was sleeping, my wife kept playing games with her in bed in order to let her sleep with us. When she was so sleepy and was about to fall asleep, her wife breathed a sigh of relief, gently covered the quilt, and waited to turn off the lights and go to bed.
As soon as the light was turned off, she sat up and cried and wanted to look for grandma. We coaxed her and lied to say that grandma was sleeping. You slept with your parents tonight. It would be fine if you didn’t say it. When she cried louder, she wanted to look for grandma. There was no way, so I turned on the light, and she ran to grandma’s room by herself.
I ran out, looked at it, and after a while, the little guy got into her grandmother's bed, and his wife sat on the bed in silence.
When I walked into the room, my wife covered her tightly with a quilt, and I knew she was crying again.
Since we were one and a half years old, she basically didn't sleep with us when we went home. Only when her grandparents had something to do and went back to their hometown, the little guy reluctantly slept with us. But as long as grandparents were at home, grandparents were the first choice. For this reason, my wife had countless tears.
In order to get a better life, we both lost the growth of our daughter.
Later, I discussed with my wife that when the little guy goes to kindergarten next year, we will get off work early every day and come home a little late in the morning.
