Jiahu Bone Flute
987, a Bone Flute was unearthed from the Jiahu site in Wuyang, Henan. Once discovered, it shocked the world and rewritten the history of Chinese music with one's own strength. This is the oldest musical instrument of , , discovered by Chinese archaeology so far, dating back to about 7,800-9,000 years.
After identification, Jiahu bone flute is made of the ulnar bone of crane wings. The flute body is more than 20 cm long. It is earthy yellow, crystal clear and small, and has a bright and clean luster like jade. It can play traditional five-tone or seven-tone music. This shows that as early as eight or nine thousand years ago, the ancients living on the land of China had a certain musical aesthetic and began to use increasingly complex scales to create music.

However, due to years of war in the late Tang Dynasty, the five-string pipa making skills gradually disappeared, and by the Song Dynasty, it was basically extinct. But in today's Masakura Inn, Japan, there is a "mother-pearl red sandalwood five-stringed pipa" from Tang Dynasty .
This Pipa is a treasure brought back by the Japanese envoy from the Tang Dynasty. It is also the only remaining five-string Pipa cultural relic in the world today. It is a peerless solitary product. The whole body of the pipa is made of red sandalwood, and the tortoiseshell in the middle and lower part of the panel forms the main decoration on the front, which is inlaid with images of camels playing the pipa, and there are also auspicious birds made of mother-of-pearl around it. The back is decorated with patterns such as Dabao Xianghua and Feiyun. It is extremely magnificent and skillful. It still retains its extremely regular shape and crystal clear texture after thousands of years.

" Jiuxiao Huanpei ” Guqin
"Jiuxiao Huanpei" is a guqin made by the piano master Lei Wei during the Kaiyuan period of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. There are four existing ones, three of which are collected in Beijing Palace Museum , Chinese History Museum and Liaoning Provincial Museum . There is also a private collection by Mr. He Zuoru . Among them, the one collected by the Palace Museum is the most famous. There are also inscriptions by Su Shi, Huang Tingjian and other literati and poets on the back.
Guqin has many styles. The "Nine-Dao Huanpeng" is the Fuxi style. The head of the piano is slightly round, wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, which is one with the head of the piano. The waist of the piano is retracted into an arc shape, thick and atmospheric. Whether it is material or shape, it represents the highest specifications of the guqin and is regarded as a "good-top Tang thing".
According to legend, Mr. He Zuoru invited famous artists to play it after collecting the "Nine-Dao Huan Pei" guqin, but the tone was not ideal. It was not until I met the guqin master Professor Li Xiangting that this thousand-year-old guqin rejuvenated its perfect tone again. When the thick and smooth sound of the piano flows out from the fingers, the prosperous Tang Dynasty thousands of years ago seems to be in front of you. Mr. Li Xiangting evaluated the rhyme of this Tang Qin with seven words: "Flue, tranquil, round, majestic, heavy, distant, and magical."
