In order to welcome the convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, on October 13, the branch of the Jiusan Society of China Railway Science Research Institute organized members to retake the red road - to visit the Yangtaishan Red Culture and Education Base.

Yangtaishan Red Culture and Education Base is located in Bei'an Hexi Mountain in Sujiatuo Town, Haidian District. Its ancient fragrance road in Yangtaishan, which is famous in the capital, is the Zhongbei Road leading to Miaofeng Mountain in Mentougou District. This ancient incense trail is paved with stones, uneven and winding upwards. It is most appropriate to describe it as "ordinary and great". During the Anti-Japanese War, this ancient incense trail was the main secret transportation line leading to the Jin-Cha-Hebei base, and was called the "hunchback route on bicycles."

On the way up the mountain, the members saw plaques erected on both sides of the road, recording important historical events experienced by the Communist Party of China from 1921 to 2021. When they came here, they seemed to push open a mottled door and immediately shuttled through the glorious history of the Communist Party of China. There have been many heroic deeds on this traffic line. In the past 10 years from 1939 to 1949, the Guxiang Road of Yangtaishan was the most important underground traffic line of Pingxi Intelligence Traffic Contact Station, connecting to the enemy base behind Miaofeng Mountain. Radio expert Lin Maike also took advantage of this secret line to go to Yan'an to support the war of resistance. Underground party members such as Huang Hao, Wu Lai, revolutionary martyrs such as , Qu Hongxi all provided important information for the War of Resistance through this line.

members came to Beijia Garden to visit. International friend French doctor Bei Xiye was a Bethune-style doctor who selflessly helped the Chinese people during the War of Resistance Against Japan. After the outbreak of the Lugou Bridge incident, he stood up to support the Chinese people's anti-fascist war. Through this transportation line, he secretly sent medicine to the base area, covering patriotic young students, Communist cadres and international friends to the revolutionary base area. Beijia Garden thus became a secret transportation liaison station between Pingxi Anti-Japanese Base Area and Beiping City .

Through visiting the members, they felt that these revolutionary historical relics were telling the struggle experiences and revolutionary spirit of the predecessors who were born in peaceful times.
