Recently, the second volume of the book "History of the Communist Party of China Qingcheng" compiled by the Party History Research Office of Qingcheng County Party Committee was published and distributed by Sanqin Publishing House, Shaanxi Xinhua Publishing and Media Group. The book adopts chapter style, with 222,000 words in the whole book, divided into 4 pieces and 15 chapters, and more comprehensively records the history of the Communist Party of China in Qingcheng from October 1949 to December 1978.

　　The compilation of the second volume of "History of the Communist Party of China" adheres to the guidance of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of "Three Represents", the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, strictly follows the two resolutions of the Party's historical issues and the "Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party's Centennial Struggle", uses the views of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, and shows the history of the Communist Party of China in a realistic manner in a socialist revolution and the history of the Communist Party of China during the construction period, highlighting the brilliant achievements of Qingcheng's economic, political, cultural, and social construction undertakings in this historical period, and summarizing the tortuous journey and valuable experience accumulated by the Party leading the people in Qingcheng to build socialism.

　　The second volume of "History of Qingcheng of the Communist Party of China" was compiled with strong support from the Central Party History and Literature Research Institute, the Party History Research Office of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, the Party History Work Office of the Qingyang Municipal Party Committee, and the Qingcheng County Party Committee and the County Government. It was listed as a special guidance fund project for the Central Party History and Literature Research and Propaganda. The book took five years to write, and it changed several drafts. In September 2021, it passed the acceptance of the project group for the special guidance fund for the Central Party History and Literature Research and Propaganda, and was subsequently published and distributed with the approval of the project group and the Qingcheng County Party Committee.

　　The second volume of "History of the Communist Party of China's Qingcheng" is a basic local party history book that integrates political, informative and readable. I hope that the publication of this book can actively play the role of preserving history, providing advice and educating people, helping the majority of party members and cadres in Qingcheng County to study the history of the Party in depth, enhance their enthusiasm for loving the Party, patriotism, and love their hometown, further consolidate the results of party history learning and education, and strive to comprehensively build a modern socialist country and accelerate the construction of a happy and beautiful new city.
