Preface:
On October 25, 1950, Chinese People's Volunteer Army and the North Korean people officially united, and the prelude to the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea officially kicked off.
This war lasted for two years and nine months. Our country strongly repelled the US military and broke the fantasy of the US hegemony .
Before Resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea , the Communist Party of my country also had experience of fighting against the Korean people in the revolutionary period, and there were 5 such people who were recognized by the Korean people, which made them admire them even today.
Wise and Divine Martial Chairman Mao
First of all, what they admire most was Chairman Mao, which was inseparable from the international situation at that time.
After 14 years of war, our country finally ushered in a long-lost peace. Just when everyone could finally breathe a sigh of relief, an unexpected telegram was sent from North Korea.
North Korean Prime Minister Kim Il-sung asked our country for help in a telegram, and the United States continued to provoke and prepared to intervene in the Korean War .
At this time, the new China had just been established. The domestic economic development was in a downturn, and many of the original industries were destroyed by the war.
and Chiang Kai-shek still fantasizes about rekindling after fleeing Taiwan. At this time, the United States wants to implement hegemony in Asia, interfere in other countries, and provoke our country.
In this situation of internal and external troubles, everyone is thinking about resting first, and first settle the internal situation when fighting foreign countries.
After all, my country's economic level was weak at that time, and compared with the dominant United States, its military equipment was really far behind, and this war would be extremely difficult.
However, Chairman Mao's eyes were far-reaching. He clearly saw the impact of the United States' intervention in the Korean War on the New China. Once North Korea is controlled by the United States, it is very likely that it will be China's turn next.
World War II has passed, and the world will surely usher in peace, and the United States cannot continue to do evil. After careful consideration, Chairman Mao finally made a decision to send troops to fight against the United States and aid Korea.
Chairman Mao relied on his combat plan and his views on the international situation and successfully convinced other members of the Party Central Committee, and finally formed the volunteer army to go to Yalu River .
Chairman Mao’s son Mao Anying also joined the volunteer army and participated in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. During the war, Mao Anying died in the US air strike in order to rescue combat information.
In this war, our country's military lags behind the US military in all respects. Under such arduous conditions, the volunteer army used its blood and resilience to withstand the US military's attack again and again.
During the battle, due to insufficient clothes to protect the cold, some soldiers even fell on the road of ambush in the cold winter and never stood up again when the horn of the attack was sounded.
With the correct strategic plans again and again and again, and the perseverance and fearless spirit, we have powerfully demonstrated the power of New China to the whole world and broke the American hegemonic fantasy.
Two years and nine months later, the United States finally fled in a hurry and signed an armistice agreement.
"Have a punch, so as not to come a hundred punches."
When the North Korean people faced the aggression of the United States, Chairman Mao made a firm decision. It was this point that made Chairman Mao win the love and admiration of the North Korean people, and China and North Korea also forged a deep friendship.
Firmly backed by Zhou Enlai
When Chairman Mao decided to support North Korea, although most people opposed it, Premier Zhou was the first to stand up to support this decision.
Prime Minister Zhou was our country's Foreign Minister . When the United States was provoking, he responded immediately:
"If the American army insists on doing its own thing, then we will not sit idly by."
Premier Zhou met with ambassadors to China from many countries at the first time, and also spoke on behalf of China in the world and expressed condemnation of the US's behavior.
When most countries were afraid of the status of the United States and remained silent on behalf of our country, Premier Zhou strongly criticized the United States on behalf of our country. This is also the first time that New China has spoken out in the world after the founding of . Its position is fair and not Fear of power, do not hide or retreat.
In addition to his speech before the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, Premier Zhou’s help to North Korea was far more than that, but throughout the entire battle.
After Chairman Mao proposed the view of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea, Premier Zhou was the first to agree and actively persuade other comrades in the party to analyze the current situation for them.
At the meeting, Premier Zhou once spoke:
"How can we not save our neighboring countries? Now it is not whether we want to fight, but the enemy has to force us to fight. "
With the full support of Premier Zhou, Chairman Mao's proposal to resist U.S. aid Korea was successfully implemented.
And when the US army was about to invade North Korea, Premier Zhou proposed with great vision to form a Northeast border defense force to prevent US artillery fire from spreading to our borders.
When forming the army, Premier Zhou participated in every decision and assisted Chairman Mao in strategic planning.
After the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea, Premier Zhou secretly visited the Soviet Union and won the help of the Soviet Union.
In addition to the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea, Premier Zhou also often went out. Visiting North Korea, during the lifetime of Premier Zhou, the country with the most visited countries was North Korea.
Every time he visited North Korea, Premier Zhou would give public speeches everywhere and care about the North Korean people very much. In addition, Premier Zhou also put forward many useful insights for the development of North Korea.

In order to commemorate Premier Zhou, a bronze statue was specially set up at the place where Premier Zhou gave a speech. This is the only bronze statue built specifically for foreigners in North Korea. From this, we can see the admiration of the North Korean people for Premier Zhou.
defeats the strong with the weak Peng Dehuai
Before the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, not many North Koreans knew Peng Dehuai, but after that, Peng Dehuai became the god of war in their hearts.
At the meeting on Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, many people began to worry about the excellent equipment of the US military.
After talking about it, Peng Dehuai slapped the table:
"I'll fight, and I'll beat them to pieces, see if they dare to be arrogant! "
Before going to the expedition, Peng Dehuai was 52 years old, but for the sake of the safety of the country, to help the North Korean people, and for the interests of the motherland and compatriots, Peng Dehuai was ordered to go on the expedition again in the face of danger.
Before leaving, he went to visit his nephews and nieces and said goodbye to them to take a photo.
In the eyes of North Korea at that time, the well-equipped US military had no way to resist, and the North Korean army was beaten backwards. So, can the support of the Chinese volunteer army withstand the US military?
Not long after, Peng Dehuai led the Chinese volunteer army to teach the enemy a lesson.
The US military at that time was very arrogant, and they thought they were The army was well-equipped and well-trained, and was disdainful of China and North Korea that were united.
There was still such an idea among the US military at that time. The war could be ended in three months and that after fighting, we could go back to celebrate Christmas.
The US military at that time was better than our army in terms of equipment. It had complete sea, land and air, sufficient reserve materials, and arrived at the battlefield in advance. The local terrain had been explored long ago.
And our country only has the equipment left after the struggle, only the most common artillery , no air force, no tank , some are the passion in the hearts of the volunteer soldiers.
Under the leadership of Peng Dehuai, the volunteer soldiers charged forward to the steel torrent of the US military without hesitation, without retreating, and used their flesh and blood to stop the enemy.
Chinese soldiers are not afraid of head-on confrontation with the enemy, but in order to win better, Peng Dehuai's clever command is also the key to victory.
Peng Dehuai tried every means to play the characteristics of the Volunteer Army and attacked the weaknesses of the US military. At the same time, the Volunteer Army soldiers were full of firm beliefs, so they could persevere more than the enemy in the face of war and had stronger resilience.
Under the tenacious attack of our army, the US military was successfully beaten back, and was beaten to the point of defense with its plane and cannon.
, the only one is General Peng!
Peng Dehuai's command is crucial for this battle. It was also after this war that Peng Dehuai became one of the people most admired by the North Korean people and was called the "hero of the People's Republic of Korea" in North Korea.
Mountain Forest Warrior Yang Jingyu

Because he has seen the suffering of his family and country since he was a child, Yang Jingyu, who was only 18 years old, began to participate in revolutionary activities secretly.
1926, Yang Jingyu joined the Chinese Communist Youth League, and firmly followed the footsteps of the Party and walked on the road of revolution.
When he was engaged in a revolutionary mission, Yang Jingyu was arrested many times, but he never surrendered once in the face of the enemy's torture.
1931, September 18th Incident . Under the instructions of his superiors, Yang Jingyu went to the Northeast to prepare for the joint anti-Japanese war. It was also the Northeast Joint Examination that brought Yang Jingyu and the Korean people to the intersection.
In 1910, North Korea was destroyed by Japan, but the Korean people did not surrender, but began an anti-Japanese movement. After many domestic movements were suppressed, a large number of North Korean patriots came to Northeastern .
At this time, the northeast was facing the invasion of the Japanese army, and a large number of patriots rose up to resist. Under the influence of our anti-Japanese spirit, many North Koreans who stayed here formed an anti-Japanese guerrilla team with the Chinese.
At the end of 1931, patriots in my country and North Korea anti-Japanese people jointly formed the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Forces , and North Korea's future leader Kim Il-sung was also among them.
During the war of resistance between the Northeast and the Japanese army, Yang Jingyu and Kim Il-sung met. They both admired each other and forged a deep friendship.

Faced with the enemy's encirclement, Yang Jingyu fell into a quagmire. The team he led was constantly consumed, surrounded again and again, and his comrades following him fell one by one.
was in the cold winter at that time, without food and support, so Yang Jingyu relied on tree bark and cotton to fight hunger and quenched thirst with snow.
Until February 23, 1940, Yang Jingyu fought with the enemy to the last moment, and he died of ammunition and food.
It is worth mentioning that Lee Donghua, a messenger under Kim Il-sung, followed Yang Jingyu at that time, and fought to the last moment with him.
After obtaining Yang Jingyu's body, the Japanese army cruelly cut it open and found that Yang Jingyu's stomach only had cotton and grass roots. It was really hard to imagine what kind of belief he relied on to fight the enemy for so long in the cold winter.
1958, Kim Il-sung was already the Prime Minister of North Korea. After hearing that Yang Jingyu was buried, he sent someone to send a wreath.
When Kim Il-sung mentioned Yang Jingyu in his memoir, he couldn't help but write:
"Commander Yang and I were from different countries and different ethnic groups, but we were fighting for the same belief. After hearing the news of his sacrifice, I can't forget it for a long time and was sad alone for a long time."
Yang Jingyu won the respect of the North Korean people with his firm belief.
The Fire of Inheritance Wei Zhengmin
Wei Zhengmin, in fact, this is not his real name. His original name is Guan Youwei.

In order to better carry out anti-Japanese work, Wei Zhengmin once used more than a dozen pseudonyms, and Wei Zhengmin was his most famous one.
Wei Zhengmin, who was separated, was to save the nation and the people, which shows the belief in his heart.
After the September 18th Incident, Wei Zhengmin came to the Northeast to organize work under the arrangement of his superiors, and Wei Zhengmin was the pseudonym he used during this period.
22-year-old Wei Zhengmin served as secretary of the municipal party committee in Harbin, but he encountered a problem when he just came here - the "People's Livelihood League Incident".
At this time, many Northeast people also joined the anti-Japanese team. In order to target these anti-Japanese armed forces and undermine the unity of our party and the Korean revolutionary forces, the Japanese army specially set up a "people's livelihood group".
Minsheng Group consists of North Koreans who defected to the Japanese army and join various anti-Japanese organizations to carry out sabotage, which quickly aroused dissatisfaction among many people in the anti-Japanese team with the North Koreans.
Wei Zhengmin immediately held a meeting and criticized it severely at the meeting:
"Most of the North Koreans are good, and traitors are just those very few!"
With the efforts of Wei Zhengmin, the cooperation between the North Korean people and our army has become closer.
In 1936, Wei Zhengmin met with Kim Il-sung and adapted the guerrillas led by Kim Il-sung into the independent division of the second team of the Anti-Japanese United Army.
This independent division led by Kim Il-sung fought bravely with the Japanese army in the Northeast and was well-known. Later, after returning to China, it became the predecessor of the Korean People's Army.
After Yang Jingyu's death, Wei Zhengmin accepted Yang Jingyu's work and continued to lead the team to fight against the Japanese army. The good times did not last long. A year later, due to the betrayal of the traitor, Wei Zhengmin, who was seriously ill, died heroically while fighting against the enemy.
After Kim Il-sung returned to China, he still missed Wei Zhengmin who had fought together, and once sent someone to contact Wei Zhengmin's son to express his gratitude.
China and North Korea formed a deep friendship in the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. In addition to these people, there are thousands of the most lovely people worth remembering.
History has passed, and the traces of the battle have been constantly being worn away by time, but we must always remember the martyrs in our hearts.
