Han Xin is a famous military strategist during the Qin and Han dynasties. He is invincible and defeats everything. He made great contributions to the capture of the world by Liu Bang and was known as one of the "Three Heroes" in the early Han Dynasty.
It is said that when Han Xin was young, he was poor and destitute. He was once the "drift mother" who was washing clothes to serve food, and also the "humiliation" of the gangsters. Later, he was a small official in Liu Bang's army and was very unsuccessful. Only the important ministers around Liu Bang knew about talents and believed that Han Xin was a rare handsome talent, so he convinced Liu Bang to set up a general. After that, Han Xin really lived up to his trust and led the army, set up the Sanqin , captured the King of Wei, defeated the soldiers of the Dian, captured the King of Zhao, until he defeated the Xiang Yu .
Han Xin
However, after Han Xin became famous, he could not die. In Han Gaozu eleven years, he was lured and killed by Empress Lu and Xiao He. Some people say that he was killed because of rebellion and deserved it; some people say that Liu Bang was not tolerant of others, and he died unjustly. Each person has a different opinion, and it is difficult to distinguish between the superior and inferior.
said that he deserved his sins and proposed the following evidence:
First of all, he relied on his merits and asked for the title of the King of Farewell.
In the fourth year of Emperor Gaozu, after pacifying Qi, Han Xin sent someone to say to Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang of Han: "The Qi people are fake and changeable, and they are facing Chu in the south. It is a country that is easy to recur. Without a throne to guard it, the overall situation is difficult to stabilize. I hope you will appoint me to be a fake king." At this time, Liu Bang was besieged by Xiang Yu in Xingyang , hoping that Han Xin would come to reinforce him day and night. When he saw the letter brought by Han Xin's envoy, he couldn't help but be furious and cursed: "I am trapped here, I hope he will assist me sooner or later, but he actually wants to become king!" Zhang Lianghe, who was beside him, was furious and scolded: "I am trapped here. I hope he will assist me sooner or later. He actually wants to become king!" Chen Ping Seeing that the situation was not good, he quietly said to Liu Bang: "We are in a bad situation now, how can we prohibit Han Xin from becoming king? It is better to take advantage of the situation to make personal favors and let him guard one place for us. Otherwise, civil strife will occur."
Liu Bang suddenly woke up and changed his words, pretending to be a slogan and cursed: "A real man has pacified the princes. If he wants to be a real king, why should he be a fake king? It's irrational! It's irrational!" He looked angry. Then, he sent Zhang Liang to Qi and made Han Xin the king of Qi. Afterwards, Han Xin and others were summoned to lead their troops to fight Xiang Yu at Gaixia , defeating Xiang Yu. Liu Bang made Han Xin the king, which was a last resort. Therefore, as soon as the dispute between Chu and Han ended, he seized Han Xin's military power and transferred him to King Chu. From then on, wary of Han Xin was planted.
The second is that he surrendered and rebeled and ruled the side.
After Xiang Yu's death, Chu general Zhong Limei defected to Han Xin. Because they were old friends, Zhonglimei was able to live a secret life. After Liu Bang learned about this, he ordered Han Xin to hand over Zhongli's taste. But Han Xin values loyalty and refuses to make friends if he doesn't want to betray his friends. Liu Bang had no choice. At this time, when Han Xin first arrived in Chu, he had heavy troops to protect his ceremonial guards and his majesty was even more suspicious. Just at this moment, someone sued Han Xin for rebellion, and Liu Bang made up his mind to get rid of Han Xin. So he adopted Chen Ping's strategy and ordered the princes to meet at Chen land west of Chu State in order to take the opportunity to capture Han Xin. At this time, Han Xin had guessed Liu Bang's intention, but after thinking about it, he thought that he had no intention of rebellion, so why should he be afraid of seeing Liu Bang? So, he killed Zhonglimei and took his head to meet Liu Bang. Unexpectedly, Liu Bang arrested him and took him to Luoyang . Later, he demoted Han Xin to Huaiyin Hou , allowing him to live in Chang'an and do nothing all day. Han Xin was unhappy and often said he was sick and did not attend court.
Third, he provoked and supported Chen Xi [shǐ] rebellion.
It is said that Han Xin had agreed with Chen Yu, a border general who held heavy troops, to cooperate inside and outside to prepare for a rebellion. He also said that he had planned with his retainers that when Liu Bang led his army to fight against Chen Yu, he pretended to make an edict, released the prisoners, and then suddenly attacked Empress Lu and Prince Lu in the palace. As a result, the conspiracy was reported by his son's younger brother. Later, Empress Lü designed to trick Han Xin into entering the palace and killed him in Changle's palace. The above three major crimes are enough to show that Han Xin is a conspirator who only cares about personal gains and losses, causes division, and plans to rebel. He deserves to die. Moreover, in order to implement centralization, Liu Bang was imperative to eliminate kings and princes of different surnames.

said that he died unjustly and was a strange and unjust throughout the ages, and he also explained some truth:
First of all, Han Xin never had the intention of rebellion.
Back then, at the critical moment of the Chu-Han dispute, when Han Xin held heavy troops, Xiang Yu often made the appointment of "three parts of the world", but Han Xin did not rebel; when he was named the Queen of Qi, the Qi native Kuai [kuǎi] Tong once advised Han Xin to separatist the country, lend him the name of "no words" to lure each other, and induce each other to "no more time" and incite each other, Han Xin did not rebel, how could he pacify the world? After the military power was seized, he rebelled with a group of servants and prisoners?
Secondly, King Liu Bang of Han had the intention to kill Han Xin for a long time.
When Han Xin came to Wei to defeat the dynasty, Liu Bang suddenly took over his elite troops; after Han Xin defeated Zhao, Liu Bang seized his seal talisman, replaced his generals, and took over his army; after defeating Xiang Yu, Liu Bang removed his military power and moved him from King Qi to King Chu. A series of facts show that Han Xin has always been a heart-wrenching problem for Liu Bang. If Han Xin is not removed, Liu Bang will not be able to sleep.

Third, there is no conclusive evidence for Han Xin's rebellion.
The matter of colluding with Chen Xi is purely false. Because Chen Xi [shǐ] was Liu Bang's favorite minister and Han Xin had no relationship with him, how could he talk about the two of them conspiring? The person who reported Han Xin was Han Xin's son's younger brother, and it was even more unreliable. It is said that the Sheren had offended Han Xin, and Han Xin imprisoned him to kill him, so the Sheren's younger brother went to Empress Lu to sue Han Xin for rebellion. Just imagine, can the major secrets such as Han Xin’s rebellion be disclosed to the relatives of a criminal?

The fourth, Jian (jiǎn) destroyed the differences, was Liu Bang's national policy.
After investigation, none of the seven kings who were canonized by Liu Bang for making great contributions to Han Dynasty have a good ending. Liang Wang Peng Yue, Yue Wang Zhang Ao , and Chu King Han Xin all killed in vain in the name of "rebellion". King Xin of Chu, King Xin of Huainan, Ting Bu, King of Yan, Lu Wan, were forced to rebel and destroyed. Only the Changsha King Wu Rui , who has the smallest power and remote capital, survived because of his carefulness. It seems that killing all those who can fight well and have great achievements to shock the Lord to stabilize the Liu family is the national policy that Liu Bang decided.
Han Xin once said:
The cunning rabbit dies, and the good dog cooks; the tall birds are gone, and the good bows are hidden; the enemy country is destroyed, and the advisers are destroyed.
These words revealed the miserable endings of many founding heroes.
As for Han Xin’s real cause of death, we don’t need to be petty, because after all, they have become history.
