Every time I watch a movie or TV show where someone is eating dumplings with a face full of enjoyment, I always have a question in my mind: is there really anyone who can stand eating dumplings and noodles every day?

I also like to eat dumplings, but I can’t eat them more than 2 times in a row. The third meal makes me lose my appetite. I absolutely can’t stand it and I just want to eat rice. My two children also ate pasta only once and they felt delicious, but they couldn't stand it after the second meal.

If it has something to do with my childhood living habits, I was born in rural Hefei. My hometown grew both rice and wheat. When I was a child, my family really liked to eat rice, and occasionally ate flour. People in my hometown were not used to eating flour, which is in line. My eating habits.

But I have two children. They were born in Shanghai. From primary school, rice was eaten with pasta.

My wife is from Hunan. In addition to liking spicy food, she also likes rice as a staple food. There are only three basic things to eat with pasta.

Almost no one I know can tolerate eating pasta for three days. Maybe the people I know are more one-sided.

My son found a wife from Shandong and went to Shandong during the Chinese New Year. Before leaving, my wife gave her many instructions to prepare rice, otherwise my son might fall out with her. When they came back, I specifically asked my son whether noodles or dumplings were the staple food in Shandong every day. Maybe it was my daughter-in-law who said hello, but my son said that just like Shanghai, he eats rice every day. I also asked my daughter-in-law, and she said that flour has been the staple food in her hometown since she was a child, but the problem is that now she eats rice all the time, and never eats pasta as the staple food every day. Sometimes I I wonder if it is true that those in movies and TV shows who eat noodles every day and still look happy are true. I also have friends from the Northeast. When asked, they said flour is the staple food in their hometown in the Northeast, but they also eat rice every day in Shanghai, and no one forces them. Why are they the same as me? I have trouble with my stomach, so I eat rice instead?

I am a person who accepts death. Basically, I have asked all the people I have close friends with, and I suspect that movies and TV shows are deceiving people. Are there really people who eat pasta as their staple food every day? Welcome everyone to help me clarify my doubts.
