"The Book of Changes•Qian Gua" says: Heaven moves vigorously, and a gentleman strives for self-improvement.
There are always wind and rain in life. Asking for others is a kind of dependence. You can rely on for a while, but you cannot rely on for a lifetime.
We often hear people say: If you rely on the mountain, the mountain will fall; if you rely on the person, the person will run away. In fact, the most reliable one is the self-improvement.
I have heard of such a legend: lay Buddhists shelter from the rain under the eaves, and Bodhisattvas carry umbrellas to pass by.
The lay Buddhist said: Please ask the Bodhisattva to cross me for a while.
The Bodhisattva said: I am in the rain, you are under the eaves, you don’t need me to cross.
The layman walked out of the roof: Now please send me some time.
The Bodhisattva said: I won’t be wet because I have an umbrella, and you will be wet in the rain because I don’t have an umbrella. It’s an umbrella that can save you, don’t look for me, please go find an umbrella.
As the saying goes: Bodhisattvas put their hands together and recite the Bodhisattva. It is better to seek yourself than to seek others.
It is better to invest in yourself than to invest in the mountains of gold and silver. If you have more skills, you will have less demands; if you have more hardships, you will have less disasters.
Children without umbrellas must run hard. When you want to ask someone, why not ask yourself if you have tried your best?
Only by learning to hold an umbrella by yourself can you compete with destiny, do not ask for anything, and be the most confident in being a talent.
Hold your own umbrella and walk your own path.
