Kang Keqing spared no effort in the construction of the motherland
Kang Keqing, who survived the disaster, later served as the honorary director of the South-East Shanxi Women’s Salvation Association, a member of the Women’s Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the acting director of the Wartime Child Care Association of the Liberated Area. To win the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation, they made due and great contributions.
And behind all this, her marriage with Mr. Zhu is inseparable. In her marriage to Mrs. Zhu, she actively moved closer to Mrs. Zhu, achieving herself and finally this legendary relationship.
In 1976, Mr. Zhu passed away. Before his death, Mr. Zhu told her like an ordinary husband, asking her to take good care of the family, and if her offspring is unworthy, she can declare that she will sever ties with them.

In 1983, her youngest grandson Zhu Guohua still fell. Kang Keqing was heartbroken. He called his children and grandchildren to the front and reiterated Mr. Zhu’s will and condemned them. Mr. Zhu must not be discredited.
In 1992, when Kang Keqing died, she realized that she was about to go to another world to follow that great husband, but it was her husband’s dying trust that she could not worry about. She said to her children and grandchildren:
"This This time, I may not be able to hold on any longer...you, live a peaceful life...don’t embezzle, don’t make mistakes..."
