Types of plastic wrap
PE (polyethylene) plastic wrap
PE The main ingredient of plastic wrap is polyethylene resin , which is mainly used for packaging ordinary fruits and vegetables, etc.; due to its good breathability, it is not suitable for packaging foods with high oil and easy to destroy the flavor by oxygen .

PVC ( polyvinyl chloride ) plastic wrap
PVC is a polymer compound composed of vinyl chloride monomer. It has the characteristics of good transparency, high viscosity, good elasticity and difficulty in rupture, but these characteristics are based on its huge harm to people.

Some PVC plastic wrap may contain ethylhexylamine (DEHA) as a plasticizer. This substance will destroy the endocrine system of the human body, be carcinogenic, easily precipitate from the packaging materials, and enter the human body with food.
Therefore, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine requires food plastic wrap manufacturers to indicate the material and scope of application on the outer packaging of the product . It is prohibited to use DEHA when producing PVC plastic wrap . At the same time, it is prohibited to directly use PVC plastic wrap to package meat, cooked food and fat food.
PVDC ( polyvinylidene chloride ) plastic wrap
PVDC plastic wrap is mainly used for packaging some cooked food, ham and other products. It has the characteristics of good freshness, strong and easy to attach, and can prevent moisture evaporation, and is better than PVC plastic wrap in terms of heat resistance and safety. PVDC plastic wrap can be used for both freshness in refrigerators and microwave heating, and its operating temperature range can reach -60℃~140℃.
