Liqun Machinery Factory, a military "third-line factory" founded in 1969, code-named "9419", is located in a mountain forest in Maotanchang Town, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, in the Dabie Mountains. Covering an area of 300 acres, it mainly produces military accessories and auto parts, and supplies supporting equipment to several nearby "arsenal factories". In its glory days, there were thousands of workers. The large factory building was buzzing with machines every day, and products were continuously delivered to brother factories, making important contributions to national defense construction.

As the times change, these little-known "old third-line" arsenals have completed their historical missions and begun to "convert the military to civilians." Liqun Machinery Factory also moved out of Dashan in the 1990s, but the large factory buildings, employee dormitories and other old-fashioned buildings still stood among the green mountains and green waters.
