Mr. Yang Zhenning was born on October 1, 1922 in Hefei City, Anhui Province.
1929, his father Yang Kechun (Zhi Wuzhi) was hired as a professor in the Department of Mathematics of Tsinghua University. He lived at No. 19, the West Courtyard of Tsinghua Park. After the West Courtyard was expanded to south in the 1930s, the door sign of their house was changed to No. 11, and he lived there with his father for 8 years.
