"The Complete Biography of Chiang Ching-kuo" was also bought from Bertelsmann Book Club 25 years ago. This time I am rereading it, I believe there will be different gains.
There is a blogger on the Internet saying that you should not read biographies of people, which is equivalent to reading and learning successfully, because no one can have the same situation as the client, and it is impossible to copy the success of the client. I sneer at this argument. This statement itself is a "success mentality" that is eager for quick success. Who says reading biographies is to succeed like the parties involved in the book?
Biography of a character is a historical record, which takes the real experiences of vivid characters as the main line. The description of history of human nature is to study human nature. Understanding and thoroughly reading it can understand the current world very effectively and guide the current life. This is the most important significance of reading a character's biographies.
How to effectively read biography? I have three experiences:
1. Using the three methods of knowing people to read
"original family", "growth experience", and "daily behavior" are the most effective ways to see a person clearly. Therefore, whether it is reading the character's autobiography or his biography, the focus should be on reading and analysis of these three aspects.

2. Study characters from multiple angles
For people you like, don’t just read one biography, but look at the biography written by multiple authors for the same character. It is better to have unofficial history. In this way, you will not make the parties involved one-sided and extract real things. For example, Mr. Jiang Ching-kuo has many biographies. The book I read is called "The Complete Biography of Jiang Ching-kuo". There is also a book written by Mr. Jiang Nan on the market. I was also going to read it. It was because of this book that Mr. Jiang Nan was secretly Shuang in the United States.
3. Treat characters as "people" and not as "god"
When reading characters' biography, remember to invite the person involved from the god position. You must understand that he is also a mortal, and he also has troubles, needs and desires. The same applies to Maslow 's theory of human needs hierarchy. Only by treating characters as "people" can the person involved be not stereotyped.
