In April this year, The Propaganda Department of the Central Committee , the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and other 17 departments jointly issued the "Opinions on Carrying out the Pilot Project of the Construction of Youth Development-based Cities". In June, Yueyanglou District, Yueyang City was successfully selected as a national youth development county pilot project, with only two companies in the province. On the afternoon of September 22, Yueyanglou District held a Youth Work Joint Meeting and a Youth Development-based County Pilot Work Promotion Meeting. Hu Xiaoming, deputy secretary of the Yueyanglou District Party Committee and director of the District Party Committee Office, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Deng Jianhua, member of the district party committee and deputy district mayor, presided over the meeting. 23 heads of relevant departments and units and 15 responsible persons in charge of streets (towns) attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the Yueyanglou District Committee of the Communist Youth League organized the study of the "Hunan Province Youth Development Plan (2021-2025)" and the "National Youth Development County Pilot Implementation Plan" and the "Opinions on Carrying out the Pilot Project of Youth Development City Construction" of 17 Central Ministry and Commissions, and interpreted the "Notice of Yueyanglou District on Doing a Good Job in the Pilot Project of Youth Development County Pilot Project (Draft)". Responsible persons from the District Education Bureau, District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, District Health and Family Planning Bureau, District Federation of Trade Unions and other units discussed how to implement the spirit of the above documents, optimize the youth development environment, and organize and mobilize young people to make achievements, express their attitude, claim tasks, and strengthen responsibilities.
Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Director of the District Party Committee Office Hu Xiaoming said in his speech that we must improve our political stance and fully understand the importance of doing a good job in the pilot work of youth development-oriented county-level pilot work, focus on youth needs to build a platform, focus on youth development and optimize the environment for youth development, focus on youth participation and guidance, and further promote the effectiveness of the county-level pilot work of youth development; we must gather work synergy to ensure the smooth progress of the county-level pilot work of youth development, promote the systematic implementation of the Youth Development Plan, promote the high-quality development of youth, and accumulate more youth strength for striving to build a core leading area and the best district of the provincial sub-center city.
