The third Fudan University School of Management Medical and Health Industry Summit recently took the theme of " Medical Reform , Precision Medicine, Value Management, Organizational Empowerment" and invited scholars, guests, and alumni from the health field to share observations, practices and thoughts within the industry, and jointly explore the development and direction of China's big health industry.
Professor Lu Xiongwen, Dean of the School of Management of Fudan University, said that the medical and health industry is not only related to everyone's well-being, but also to the future of the country. The key to the role of management in industrial development, especially in the development of the medical and health industry: it can not only help various fields and industries save costs and improve efficiency, but also help scientific and technological achievements in various tracks solve many problems faced by mankind.
Lu Xiongwen particularly emphasized the importance of science and technology innovation and management. Management empowers science and technology innovation and will definitely achieve twice the result with half the effort. The combination of management and science and technology innovation can enhance the momentum and efficiency of scientific and technological progress, create new industrial opportunities, and thus promote the development of human society.
How can scientific and technological innovation in the new era empower and continuously improve the level of medical and health technology? Academician of of Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University Professor Fan Jia believes that while solving the needs of patients, it can also simultaneously stimulate the innovation vitality of talents and enhance the innovation capabilities of hospitals, which requires a collaborative innovation system to support it.
Fan Jia said that, on the one hand, from the perspective of basic layout, we must pay attention to discipline planning, platform construction and talent training. Especially in terms of talent training, through the dual-track training model of "doctor-scientist" system, a team of talent echelons with reasonable structure, sufficient quantity, innovative, complex and high-level are formed. On the other hand, from the perspective of support system, hospitals also need to establish a new technology cultivation management system, clinical research system, result transformation system and a medical and industrial integration system. At present, in terms of the results transformation system, Zhongshan Hospital has formed a standard process from patent application, patent promotion to patent conversion, and has provided full management and services.
In recent years, my country has carried out drastic policy reforms in the field of medicine, which has stimulated the innovative vitality of the industry and gradually built a universal medical system. This summit also set up two roundtable forums to gather industry experts and industry leaders, and discuss hot topics nowadays to promote the innovation of industry and develop .
Director of the National Infectious Disease Medical Center and Director of the Infectious Disease Department of Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University Professor Zhang Wenhong When attending the roundtable dialogue, he talked about his views on scientific research and industrialization. He believes that the development and transformation of enterprises are often chosen by the market and have a certain direction, but innovation itself cannot be pre-designed and has no established direction. This also contrasts a problem: we often overemphasize the importance of scientific and technological innovation transformation and ignore scientific research behavior itself.
"Now all walks of life are emphasizing scientific and technological innovation, but how should we correctly realize scientific and technological innovation? How to reasonably complete market transformation? I personally think the key is to let science and technology innovation return to science and technology innovation and the market return to the market. Everything should be a natural thing." In Zhang Wenhong's view, "Compared to scientists who always think about entrepreneurship, we may need a group of scientific workers who can do scientific research and create scientific research for decades and concentrate on doing scientific research and creation according to their own ideas."
He said, "I always believe that as long as our scientific research environment is pure enough, we can provide financial resources."
