Behind this series of dazzling data is the result of the innovation of time-honored brand with the deep integration of production, education and research in colleges and universities. The relationship between time-honored brands and universities began in 2017. That year, Huangpu District launched the first round of entrepreneurial urban area creation. During the process of promotion, the Huangpu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau creatively tried to combine the innovative development of time-honored brands with young growth, give full play to the innovative talents and entrepreneurial enthusiasm of young people, and encourage time-honored brands to work with the government to jointly create an entrepreneurial atmosphere and achieve common growth in social innovation and entrepreneurship. The District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has launched the "Old Brands • New Vitality" special action plan for innovation and entrepreneurship, and promotes characteristic innovation and entrepreneurship work around the five major action goals of "new partners", "new skills", "new mission", "new model" and "new horizon".

At the same time, the special action also organized a series of activities such as "Home Brand Innovation Workshop", "New National Trend Youth Innovation Challenge", and "Home Brand Cultural and Creative Practice Camp", constantly combining the innovation of time-honored brand in Huangpu District with the entrepreneurial practice of colleges and universities in the city and even the Yangtze River Delta region, solving the "last mile" between theoretical learning and practical application of college students, and giving college students great space for innovation in the two dimensions of time-honored product design and marketing. Taking Shao Wansheng Public Entrepreneurship Training Base as an example, since its establishment in 2020, under the guidance of the District Employment Promotion Center, Shao Wansheng relies on Nanjing East Road Innovation First Store to establish long-term industry-university-research cooperation with East China University of Science and Technology and incubate three college entrepreneurial teams. 796 college students participated in public training, and generated more than 100 innovative plans in total, of which 22 were implemented, and were applied to marketing and promotion of time-honored brands such as Shao Wansheng, Sanyang, and Huang Longtai, forming a full-industry chain entrepreneurship training guidance model with the unique "technology assists the primary industry, technology promotes the secondary industry, and marketing helps the tertiary industry" entrepreneurship training guidance model for Shao Wansheng Public Entrepreneurship Training Base.
