Among the 985 universities in my country and the " double first-class " universities, Southeast University and Central South University are very strong. The predecessor of Southeast University originated from the National Central University of the Republic of China. Central South University was formed by the merger of Central South University of Technology, Xiangya Medical College and Changsha Railway College . It can be said that Southeast University and Central South University are both the best among universities. But why do candidates seem to be not that famous when they hear these two universities? Some candidates even believe that Southeast University thinks it is in Fujian Province, because the so-called Jiangsu Province of Southeast University should not be located in the Southeast region. Central South University thought it was in Wuhan. After all, the University of Finance and Economics and Law, which has the name " Central South ", is located in Wuhan. Changsha City does not seem to be the core city of in the Central South region.
In fact, the reason why Southeast University and Central South University cause many candidates to have misunderstandings is that the division of regions in my country is more often distinguished by the word "Hua". For example, East China, South China, North China, etc., but the division of regions such as Southeast, Central and South China, and North China is rarely mentioned. This has resulted in the low appearance rate of universities named after the Southeast, Central and North China regions, but the strength of universities cannot be ignored.
