Unfortunately, her abilities are limited after all. Even though she tried every means, she still failed to keep up with her son's growth environment.

When Chen Duoxing was five years old, a wandering monk came to his house to beg for alms, and Chen's mother took out all the food at home.

Just as she was filling food for the monk, Chen Duoxing appeared. He looked at the monk in the courtyard curiously, and at the same time, the monk was also silently observing him.

Before leaving, the monk told Chen's mother: "Your son is very destined to be a Buddhist, and he feels like a Buddhist child. In the future, he may have an indissoluble bond with Buddhism."

After hearing the monk's words, Chen's mother was also very happy. She herself is very religious and often goes to temples to burn incense and pray for blessings. If her son can become a Buddhist, she thinks it is acceptable.

However, Chen Duoxing, who is only five years old, doesn’t know why his mother is so happy, nor does he know what the monks mean. He only knows that he likes the Buddhist beads in the monks’ hands.

After the monk left, the mother and son returned to the house, and they had to make plans for tomorrow's food source.

The neighbors at the foot of the mountain discovered Chen’s mother’s condition and rushed to the temple. They found Shi Jueding and asked him to go down the mountain to visit his mother as soon as possible.

After receiving the notification from his neighbor, Shi Jueding rushed to home. He found that his mother was almost unconscious, her face was extremely pale, and she had no strength.

He invited a doctor for his mother, but did not find a good treatment. His mother's condition can only be barely controlled for the time being.

There is no way, Shi Jueding could only go back and forth in the temple and home, stayed in the temple during the day and went home to take care of his mother at night.

Every night, he would talk to his mother, recalling each other's good times, in an attempt to awaken his mother's consciousness.

However, his efforts did not work, and the mother was still lying in a drowsy bed, not having the strength to reply to her son's call.

At this moment, Shi Jueding felt mixed emotions. He didn't want any problems with his mother, and he wanted to wake up his mother.

One night, he was serving his mother for dinner. Looking at his mother's thinner face and thin hands, he felt a little anxious and worried that his mother would leave him.

Suddenly, he thought of the story of Buddha cutting his flesh and feeding the eagle, and also discovered some secrets from this story.

He believes that he and his mother are close relatives, and his mother has been in a coma. If he can learn from the Buddha, cut off the flesh on his body, and let his mother eat it, can he move God and successfully save his mother?

said that time was soon. After thinking of this method, Shi Jueding began to search for knives at home and prepare pots and pans for cooking meat.

After everything was ready, he lifted up his sleeve without thinking, carefully compared it on his arms, and after determining the place to pick up the meat, he started working with a knife.

He first brewed local herbs with boiling water, then briefly disinfected his arm with juice, then disinfected the knife with fire, and finally cut off a piece of meat on the inside of his arm. After cutting off

, he roughly treated the wound. After confirming that the wound did not continue to bleed, he put the cut meat in a pot and fed it to his mother after it was cooked.

A few years later, bad news suddenly came. The villagers at the foot of the mountain found Shi Jueding and told him that Chen's mother had passed away due to illness, hoping that he could go down the mountain to deal with the funeral as soon as possible.

After hearing the news of his mother's death, he returned home non-stop. This time, he could not wait for his mother to greet him, and could only see a cold body.

For a moment, he was extremely sad. His mother left after all, and he became a lonely man.

After handling the funeral, he did not return to the temple immediately, but stayed at home to remember his mother.

He was very confused. He had been studying hard and respecting Buddhist culture very much. He hoped to save his mother's life through his own efforts. Didn't God feel my sincerity? Or can’t see your years of hard work? Why didn’t I let my mother go?

He had a bold guess about these issues - could it be that his practice was insufficient?

In order to verify his guess, he began to travel around, hoping to find a reasonable explanation!

The history of making a fortune in Zhengjue Temple

When he was traveling abroad, he went to dozens of cities to communicate with local Buddhist disciples and also contact lay disciples in other regions.

He found that he did not fully understand the Buddhist thoughts, nor did he fully understand God's meaning.

Out of the mentality of learning, he traveled outside for seven or eight years. After having a certain foundation in Buddhism, he began to think about the next path.

After some careful consideration, he decided to return to Anhui and carry forward Zhengjue Temple.

1981, the weather was just warm, Shi Jueding came to Jinlong Mountain in Beizhong Town, Taihu County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. He built a shed with some wood and forage here. Due to the lack of waterproof material , the shed could only provide him with a simple residence and could not shelter him from the wind and rain well, but he didn't care at all, and he only had Buddha in his heart!

Immediately afterwards, he considered that there was a lack of food sources on the mountain, and the journey down the mountain was too long and he didn't have much money. He decided to farm by himself and meet his daily food needs through cultivation.

So he opened up several pieces of arable land around the shed and went down the mountain to buy some vegetable seeds.

After returning to the mountain, he sowed all the vegetable seeds he bought.

During these days of living on the mountain, he dreamed of Guanyin Bodhisattva more than once. From the Bodhisattva's mouth, he knew that there was once a temple in this place. Due to external influences, the monks in the temple had to leave this place, and the temple was razed to the ground by local people.

In the dream, Guanyin Bodhisattva asked Shi Jueding to rebuild the temple and carry forward the Buddhist spirit.

After receiving the guidance of the Bodhisattva, he thought carefully and started working the next day.

He knew that with his own efforts, he could not complete the construction of the temple in a short time. He had to hire workers to let them help him.

But he doesn’t have much savings, so how to hire workers is a problem, and where should we find the materials for temple construction?

These two problems are like two mountains, which makes him breathless. That night, he actually had insomnia, and his mind was full of how to build a temple.

The next morning, he thought of a way, which was to exchange the wasteland he had just reclaimed, hire workers to build temples in exchange for materials.

result was as expected by him. At that time, the villagers valued the land very much. When Shi Jueding exchanged the land for materials and labor, the villagers happily agreed.

After everything was ready, they began the construction of the temple.

The workers first measured a suitable construction site, found the original address of the old temple, and spent two or three days to sort out the foundation. After the foundation was successfully built, the workers began to give up. They felt that the materials had already spent too much money and there was no need to spend too much labor.

After knowing their thoughts, Shi Jueding did not say anything, but turned around and left.

Later, he began to build temples alone, whether it was to add bricks and tiles or build pillars, he did it himself.

In order to speed up the construction, he even built another straw shed in the place where the temple was built, and lived there every day. He got up to move bricks in the early morning and went back to rest in the middle of the night.

He worked very hard. He never rested for a day, no matter it was windy or rainy, nor sunny. He went to the construction site to work without any impact every day.

Fortunately, his efforts still gained something. After a period of hard work, the prototype of the temple began to slowly emerge.

Of course, he always keeps in mind the requirements of Buddhism and expresses his respect for Buddhism with practical actions.

In the past forty years, he has hardly worn a pair of complete shoes. He either has broken the seams or has been slit. The seams are repaired for another three years.

And he didn't eat much oil or water, there was not a few grains of rice in the porridge, there was no oil in the vegetables, and there was no other seasoning, which was very nutritious.

But he never said he was suffering or tired. He felt that his life was the true natural beauty.

What is admirable is that he is also a very kind monk. He can empathize with the sufferings of the world and make contributions with his own practical actions.

In that village, he would enlighten the local villagers for free so that they would not give up the hope of living because of the suffering of life. He would also move a brick and carry a stone when building roads in the village, and find a doctor for the villagers when they are sick.

One year, Shi Jueding visited Songbo Temple in Sikong Mountain, 25 kilometers away. He found that the steps in front of the temple were already in dilapidated due to disrepair, and he would be injured if he was not careful.

For this reason, he directly called on the monks in his temple to take out the incense money he received and used it to repair the steps of the temple.

In July 2017, an extremely serious flood disaster occurred in the local area. The houses in the village were flooded, and the villagers died and the injuries were injured. The losses were very serious.

, because of its high location, Zhengjue Temple has not been violated by floods.

Shi Jueding looked at the villagers who were tortured by the disaster. In order to alleviate their difficulties, he opened the temple gate to accept the people in the disaster area, and provided them with accommodation and food for free.

Under his care, the villagers' situation improved and the homelessness did not happen again.

After the flood receded, the villagers left the temple and they had to go down the mountain to repair their homes.

and they were also very grateful to Shi Jueding for taking in, and decided to handle the family affairs and thank him later.

Later, the villagers would visit the temple regularly to pay homage to Shi Jueding and talk to him about the original story.

As time goes by, Zhengjue Temple is becoming more and more famous, attracting many pilgrims and many monks join.

Now, Shi Jueding is already an eighty-year-old man, but he still recites scriptures and worships Buddha as always and receives pilgrims.

In his heart, the temple may be the destined fate.

As a person who can't bear to kill even a mosquito, Shi Jueding's life is filled with sorrow and joy. Although his mother passed away, he found a path that suited him. This is "look forward"!
