Attached the baby's Dirty teeth , many parents think that "it doesn't matter if the baby has broken teeth and does not cure it, but they will also change their teeth in the future." It was not until the baby's toothache that he couldn't sleep at night or the gums under the teeth bulged with a big pustule, or even half of his face swollen, that he hurried to the hospital to seek help from the doctor.

"Why did my baby's teeth break like this shortly after they grew out?"

This is because the teeth are not cleaned properly for a long time, and the bacteria
destroys the tooth surface structure and forms caries, which is the "black hole" on the surface of the tooth. As the infection gradually enters the inside of the teeth, causing inflammation of the pulp (dental nerve) . At this time, the baby will experience pain. After further developing into the apical inflammation of the tooth, large pustules can be seen on the lateral gums of the teeth. Don’t you change the baby teeth? Does it still need to be dealt with if it is broken?
The baby teeth start to erupt from around 6 months of age, and are replaced by permanent teeth one after another at the age of 6, and are replaced by permanent teeth only at the age of 12. Therefore, it takes a long time to fall from the deciduous teeth to the eruption of permanent teeth. If the baby is not treated, long-term infection may destroy the developing permanent tooth germ sac, thereby affecting the development of permanent tooth germ. In severe cases, it can also affect growth and development, systemic infection and mental health.
Depending on the degree of caries of the baby teeth, the doctor will do the corresponding treatment:
. The caries have not reached the endodontic pulp, and the caries tissue can be removed and directly filled with resin (also known as tooth filling).
. Caries reach the pulp or the root and periodontal tissue, and the infection substances in the root canal need to be completely removed through root canal treatment.
Because children are young, they are often difficult to cooperate in clinical practice. For children who are difficult to cooperate with treatment, protective fixation methods (such as using a restraint belt to fix the child's body), laughing gas-oxygen inhalation sedation technology or general anesthesia technology can be used to assist in the treatment of the affected teeth, but this can easily cause the child to feel fear and increase the mental stress and financial burden of parents. Therefore, it is very important for parents to do a good job in preventing and nursing care of their babies’ oral cavity.
How can I make my baby have a good teeth?
During the growth and development period of children, the complete deciduous teeth can play a good chewing function, promote the growth and development of children's bodies, and at the same time stimulate the growth of facial bones, which has a guiding effect on the eruption of permanent teeth. Therefore, it is very important to protect the health of your baby teeth and do a good job of oral cleaning.. Maintain oral hygiene
Infancy (
~1 years old) ~3 years old)Start with the first newly erupted baby teeth. Parents wrap their fingers with moist gauze once a day or use a toothbrush to gently clean the tooth surface and massage the gums.

early childhood (
Use a toothbrush to remove plaque, encourage and help the baby brush his teeth, and cultivate good brushing habits in the baby. Use arc brushing methods every morning and evening to brush your teeth. Just use fluoride toothpaste for children as small as rice grains, and fluoride toothpaste for fluoride concentration of 1000ppm. After each meal, parents help the baby use floss to clean the food residues that are stuck between the two teeth.
Preschool age (
~6 years old)
All parents are still assisted in brushing their teeth using arc brushing methods every morning and evening, and use pea-sized fluoride toothpaste for children. Children with a lower risk of caries use fluorine toothpaste with a fluorine concentration of 1000ppm, while children with a higher risk of caries use 1450ppm of fluorine toothpaste.
arc brushing method, is more than "super" holding toothbrush:
toothbrush bristles and gums at 45° angle;
brush the outside of the teeth: lightly bite the upper and lower teeth, choose a soft bristle toothbrush, and brush repeatedly in an arc;
brush the inner side of the front teeth: vertical toothbrush to clean the inner side of the upper and lower incisors, brush the upper teeth downward, and brush the lower teeth upward;
brush the inner side of the back teeth: clean in an arc;
brush the occlusal surface: keep the toothbrush vertical and clean the occlusal surface of the teeth.

brushing teeth every day is more "same"
. Regular -phase oral examination
Regular oral examination can detect oral problems in the early stage. Once you find that there is a problem with your baby's teeth, you can intervene as soon as possible. Adhere to the application of fluoride once every six months to a year and performing closure of the lumbar molars can effectively prevent the occurrence and development of caries .
. Develop good eating habits
controls the intake of sugar-rich foods and beverages, such as candies, cakes, carbonated beverages, etc.;
avoids diets with strong adhesion and long-term stay in the mouth, such as chocolate, cookies, , etc.;
performs oral cleaning after each meal, and does not give snacks and drinks before going to bed;
uses bottles to feed properly, and try to avoid night feeding.
