Contact dermatitis is the most common in life. For example, the belt buckle of jeans has a small rash on the skin when it comes into contact with the skin, and the tape is itchy when it is applied to the body. These are all symptoms of contact dermatitis.
Contact dermatitis is explained by Western medicine as an inflammatory reaction that occurs at the contact site or even outside the site after the skin or mucosa is exposed to single or multiple contacts of exogenous substances. In mild cases, it is manifested as redness (erythema) on the skin, small rashes protruding from the surface of the skin (papules), and small blisters (papules) on some rashes; in severe cases, it is manifested as skin blisters, liquid seepage, scabs, and even local skin necrosis.
Traditional medicine believes that patients have specific qualities that are innately endowed with insufficient congenital endowment, namely, the body's positive energy is insufficient, the body's weak and weak, the pores are not dense, the external function of Wei is not solid, and the external stimulation within the normal range cannot tolerate external stimulation. This is the basis for the onset of contact dermatitis.
Contact dermatitis has no corresponding disease name in traditional Chinese medicine. In traditional Chinese medicine literature, there are different names according to the different substances exposed to it and the characteristics of the symptoms caused. For example, if it is caused by paint irritation, it is called paint sores; if it is caused by applying plaster, it is called plaster wind; if it is caused by contact with the toilet, it is called toilet ringworm, etc.
When encountering such a disease, you must consult the medical history in detail, find out the source of the disease, avoid contact immediately or stop the medication immediately, and the condition will be relieved or cured after treatment.
