Grass carp hemorrhagic disease is a serious infectious disease with high incidence rate and high mortality rate. Generally, the mortality rate can reach 70-80% within 1-2 weeks. If not handled well, it will cause the death of a large number or all grass carp. If the disease occurs due to bad weather, most of the diseases are acute, and a large number of deaths will occur within 2-3 days after the onset.
There are three types of grass carp hemorrhagic disease, the most typical ones
1, with muscle hemorrhage being the main type. There are no obvious bleeding symptoms on the body surface, or only slight bleeding. This type is called red muscle hemorrhagic disease, which generally occurs in grass carp species.
2. Mainly surface bleeding. The sick fish has obvious congestion in the mouth, mandible, operculum, around the eyes and fin rays, which is called red fin and red operculum type. Generally found in fish species above 13-15 cm.
3. Mainly intestinal congestion. Known as the enteritis type, this type is generally seen in both large and small grass carp species.
For grass carp hemorrhage, it is recommended to use pure traditional Chinese medicine products such as Baicaojunjikang + Baicaoyigandan + Futide. Feeding continuously for 5-7 days can repair various bacterial infections such as bleeding and body rot, repair the liver immune system, and strengthen constitution.
