On December 20, Fu Mengyao, a psychology teacher at the Jingjiao School Affiliated School, gave a live broadcast of a psychological lecture on how to live a positive life during the epidemic - "My Life Rainbow" to the students of the primary school. Teacher Fu hopes that through psychological lectures, he can help more students better cope with the impact of the new coronavirus on our lives and better complete online learning tasks at home.

Psychology Lecture Live Room (Student Interaction: What emotions are more likely to occur under the threat of the epidemic)
First of all, Teacher Fu shared some interesting clips of netizens' response to the epidemic, showing the positive and optimistic attitude of many ordinary people in the face of the raging new coronavirus.
Teacher Fu then conducted an interaction with the students in the live broadcast room on "My emotions are like clouds, rain and wind", allowing the students to use body movements to feel the changes in the type and intensity of emotions.
Teacher Fu used interactive Q&A to introduce the types of emotions, and told us: During the current epidemic, people's lives and learning styles have changed a lot, and some negative emotions have emerged. We need to learn to deal with various emotions reasonably. Whether these emotions are positive or negative, they all have a certain meaning. Properly handling negative emotions is the only way for every student to grow.

Then, Teacher Fu invited students to draw an "emotional rainbow" activity to help students learn to feel their own emotions. After the drawing was completed, Teacher Fu invited several students to share their emotional rainbows in the live broadcast room. Teacher Fu helped everyone learn how to live a healthy life and maintain a positive attitude from two aspects: emotional management and life management.

Emotional management
In terms of emotional regulation, Teacher Fu introduced methods such as mood sticky notes, communication links, three good things, butterfly patting, etc. that can be used at the moment, including emotional recognition, emotional soothing and other techniques to help students deal with emotional problems reasonably.

Life Management
In terms of life management, Teacher Fu said that it is very important to maintain a normal schedule under the current situation of online classes. She also suggested that students can help themselves maintain good mental health by strengthening physical exercise, actively participating in housework, taking care of patients at home, and staying away from too much "junk entertainment" and other life management measures.

Finally, Teacher Fu guided everyone on how to identify whether they need to seek psychological help from the outside world, how to choose the appropriate person for help, and provided professional ways and specific channels for seeking help.
Life Rainbow helps us live more actively and be the little masters of our own emotions.
