It is so important to understand your children!
When we were having dinner in the evening, my six-year-old brother suddenly asked: "Mommy, why are you so weak?"
I was stunned and thought: Where is my weak strength? It seems like you have great strength. If you have the ability, don't come to me next time to unscrew the bottle cap... Just thinking about it, I almost blurted out, "Why am I so weak?"
Stop it! You might as well listen to your brother first: "Do you feel that mommy is too weak?"
"Yes, other people's mommies are very strong, and
they can play with children." said the brother.
I came to some understanding: "Oh, you feel like mommy hasn't played with you enough recently, right?"
My brother continued: "Yes, you don't even play when I ask you to. You said you are so tired."
I was busy co-teaching the P.E.T. workshop a few days ago, and I had less time to play with my children after I got home. I responded to my brother: "Yes, Mommy has been away from school these days and has too little time to play with you. Let's think about what to do."
My brother said, "After dinner, you can play shooting with me!"
I agreed. So, we happily played gun shooting after dinner, drew our favorite Minecraft, and played with plasticine as a family. Before going to bed, my brother gave me a big hug and then slept peacefully.
Only when you understand the meaning of your child's words can you truly understand him and give him what he wants. Listen, it is definitely a technical job.
