Southwest Petroleum Bureau deployed in Jinshi 103HF exploration well in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. Recently, it obtained a stable high-yield industrial gas flow, with a daily production of natural gas .2586 million cubic meters. Through multi-well drilling, it was confirmed that the resource volume of the production section of the Jinshi 103 well broke through to reach 387.8 billion cubic meters, and the resource volume of the entire shale section exceeded 1 trillion cubic meters. This is the first time that my country has made a major breakthrough in shale gas exploration in the Qingzhusi Formation formation of the Cambrian System.

Sichuan Basin mainly includes two main marine shale strata systems, Longmaxi Formation and Cambrian Qingzhusi Formation. Cambrian Qingzhusi Formation is the most promising marine shale gas exploration target in the future. This layer system has the characteristics of high-quality shale thin thickness, large longitudinal stress differences, and large difficulty in scale transformation. China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation Southwest Petroleum Bureau has innovatively adopted a new fracturing process and fracturing fluid system to achieve multi-stage fracturing transformation, laying the foundation for the high yield of Jinshi 103HF well.
